Just twitter rumours but a torn hamstring does seem the most likely injury

Feel terrible for him. Looked absolutely devastated and so did a lot of us in the crowd .

Good player, but he's as fragile as they come!

    Picks up easy injuries.

Don't think he's started the season off too well tbh, thought he was very ropey in the first half as most of their play come up the right wing, was rather sloppy last night.

Still an excellent player though for me.

We will miss him next week.

Excellent player, but too injury prone. We should move in for a solid right back otherwise we are gonna have the dreadful and rank rotton Ambrose playing week in week one.

Gutted he went off injured. That brought a real concern through the crowd not just for losing a top defender, but for bringing on that absolute shithouse as well.

Anyone think he could do with packing a bit of meat on? One thing I noticed when he was on the sideline is that his legs/thighs looked incredibly thin.

It seems his muscles and ligaments are fragile as *.

I noticed his hamstring was already bandaged up when he went down injured ,that tells me he was already injured and we probably rushed him back to soon for last nights game.
I also think he was at fault for their first goal,he was out of position next to Boyata when he should have been marking Berget.

He's always had sparrow legs, so frustrating because there's great player in there

I knew he was always really thin but a certain camera angle last night made me go "* me they are pencil legs" :smiley-laughing002:

He is top class but we are lucky if we get a quarter season out if him.

    Shame for big Mika!

I would get Boyata out at right back and Mulgrew in at CB if he doesn't trust ambrose (I know I don't) and If he thinks it is too soon for Janko.

Boyata started his career as a RB did he not?

No chance Lustig could get through a leg day without getting injured :smiley-laughing002:

Seen this coming a mile off when we sold Matthews. The decision to sell him for an insulting 2m could very well cost us our place in the CL and the cash that go's with it.

Will we ever learn that selling experienced proven players and being in transition during these games is mental. We should have a policy; No outgoing first team players until our European fate is decided. It doesnt take a genius to work this out.

Selling Matthews was poor from Deila. Honestly couldn't believe it. To many people jumped on Matthews for being under par last season, completely forgetting how great he was in the years before and in Europe.

Now were * unless we get a good solid right back in.

Lustig out for 3 moths is horrible news but a can't imagine how he'll feel knowing he's going to miss the Champions League games, guy must be heartbroken.

Matthews wanted to leave you maniacs. Nothing to do with Deila wanting rid or anything else. It was 100% the right move.

I doubt Deila had anything to do with Adam leaving. If he did then we have a problem.

100% the right move, are you serious? He can cover both RB and LB and we could have sold him for the same price or higher on transfer deadline day after our European fate was sealed.

We got janko in to compete for the rb spot, so I think he should be stepping up for it.. Play him Saturday n see how he does. Just hope Ronny doesn't throw Ambrose in
