How much have we missed this sexy *? If it wasn't for his Swedish compadre he would have been my MOTM tonight, great performance from a fantastic player. He brings so much to the team it's unreal!

 

Easily in my top 3 Celts just now, I don't care how long he has been out injured.

That period last season when he was running riot and included the screamer against the diets, he was unstoppable for months, world class and I'm not afraid to say it.

 

He's superb

On that note it's always been evidently obvious how much big mik loves the club and being here, this is a Swedish first name on the team sheet international starter and an.infectious presence as well and i wouldn't be surprised if his Swedish compatriot is swayed massively by lustig that this place is the place to be..

i think hes our next big thing. think of team like zenit. they have a good team (as do we come january hopefully) (still looking good from tonights now that everyones fit) team like zenit have hulk etc and just that one great striker can get you far in europen competitions. i mean we had a good team when MO was manager but with larsson on top of his game, we got to the uefa cup final. thats all we need, a really good stricker and hopefully ronny gets his style implemented as time goes on and hopefully we can play fast passin, high pressure football which with a top goal scorer, we can do anythin. i mean look at dortmant right now, 3 points from the bottom and all they basically did was sell lebendalski. i have high hope for lustig in high form, whipping them in for gudetti and the big serb boy.

 

Just a class act is Lustig. Even last week under what must have been extremely difficult circumstances with his kid being rushed to hospital, he pulled on the hoops against Astra and put in a good performance. He just seems to get what it's all about playing for Celtic.

 

He seriously is a world class player.

But having him in the team reassures everyone.

Matthews has had a hard time this past year with injuries and such, before his injuries he was as effective and had some unbelievable games, Barca at home for example.

Lustig is my favourite player though not just because of his ability but he's so * passionate and I love his reaction to goals and winning.

 

At present, would walk in to a few seriously good sides in Europe. On a fantastic run of form. Utterly tireless, and top quality also.

Has proved to be a great signing.

 

The big Man is the model professional. Consistent as * in many positions and as everyone here is saying, he adores the club.
These "real" diamonds are rare and hope he retires here.
Unsong hero in most games and missed him like * when he was out.

If Broonys injured, the big man gets the armband as far as im concerned.

A wee word in Guidettes ear too might convince him of the status he can get here that he wont anywhere else.

 

Had a wee look back at the early pages of the thread and some of the latter.

Early pages folk were saying he's not good enough/sell him in the summer and the latter pages saying he's an ideal club captain.

Funny how folk pass judgement so early without forethought.
