What has that got to do with him "not giving a * ?"

Carelessness is the biggest sign of not giving a *.

Then again, for the third time, I say: could be lack of interest, and/or bad tactics. He isn't 35 and nothing justifies going downhill so fast. He can't go from a key player from the swedish national team and the strongest part of our defence to this. Perhaps you prefer your implied answer that he forgot how to play football in 3 months than think that he maybe might be unmotivated.

It's a bad game in a bit of a poor season for him, but some of the reactions in here are well over the top.

He's had a really bad week.

You can tell after 2 minutes what kind of game Lustig is going to have. If he starts off badly he just continues and has a stinker of a game.

Not looking to make excuses for him but could the issues with his wife be effecting him?

As soon as he got an early booking, I knew he wouldn’t last the game. He is a yard slower in his thinking and decision making now, which used to compensate for his lack of pace..

Lost May his man again several times today too.

Thanks for everything but time to move him on.

Absolute disgrace the way he got sent off today. The last time I was that * off with a player for being an absolute idiot was Edson braafheid handball at pittodrie.

Would happily never see Lustig in a Celtic strip ever again. Could easily have dropped points after that.

Would honestly rather have Efe Ambrose at right back at the moment

Would you have still said this if we went on to drop points?

He is becoming a laughing stock

Some of the reactions are bad but it isn't just a bad game in one season. You could see the decline starting last season.

No she suffers from chronic depression so bad she wanted to move away last year before he signed his deal and she has given up her fashion business due to it

I knew she suffered from depression but didn’t realise it was that bad that she was wanting to move away etc. It could well be affecting his performances but he has been poor for a long time now. Even towards the end of last season he wasn’t great.

At the end of the day only he can really say why his form is been affected. If the problems with his wife are a factor then he should just approach Brendan and let him know. If I was in his position I would rather be able to focus on my football and not having my personal life worrying me on the field to the extent that I was playing badly, potentially giving away important goals that could concede us points and frustrating the fans and team. But at the end of the day his partner is priority, he is entitled to be able to spend more time with her.

Brendan has spoke out about the players and the importance of their personal lives before. It’s not a stupid reason with Lustig. His wife suffers from depression so it’s a serious matter. Brendan comes across as been a very approachable and understandable guy. He understands that the players have lives outwith football.

My "implied answer" is he is a decent player who is going through a really difficult time in terms of his form and the mistakes he is making. How do you explain his diving header to prevent the equaliser and his reaction to it" if he doesn't give a *" ?

I just think his legs have gone and I know that was the same thing being labelled at him a couple of years ago but this feels different.

I don’t think his poor run of form gives anyone the right to belittle the guy right enough. A major component of plenty of success, a guy that has taken our club to his heart and someone that is willing to fight in the trenches for our team. Now being called a diddy and the worst right back we’ve ever had.

    * *, nearly as bad as Markybhoy calling Rodgers a clown the other day.

Lustig worries me at the moment when selected, and like many others I feared the worse when he picked up that first yellow.

That said, he did make 2x vital blocks on the goal line and has conducted himself impeccably in a hooped shirt.

Take the ban, put your feet up and come back better please

I just find it mental that people are still defending him. He's been the weak part of our side for the past two seasons. It's criminal he's still not bee replaced.

Overall you can call him a successful signing but his time is up.

The way some people are speaking about him is an absolute disgrace. He is definitely finished and has been dire lately but this 'get to * Lustig' pish and similar that's appearing on social media is an embarrassment.

It's not the first nonsense I've heard this season as well. Knew these arseholes would latch on after last season's success.

One of they ones where you feel bad hearing the criticism. He has been nothing short of abysmal of late though, running like an auld guy runs for a bus. The only reason I see him playing in front of Gamboa atm is because our backline lacks that physicality from set balls. Watching our team walk out vs Zenit there was a significant size difference
