Funnily enough, I agree 100% with this.

more than likely Hooper would get about 3-4 games of learning from Owen:rolleyes:

Totally understand where you guys are coming from, but we can't afford to pay x amount of wages per week on a part-time player.

I'd rather approach Ivan Klasnic (freshly-released from Bolton) - a guy with decent experience and most likely able to play 20+ games per season.

No NO NO NO this is not where we should spend our money on. A big prolific target man from 'cheaper' leagues such as Belgium, Romania, Poland is where we should be focusing on.....

    :icon_mrgreen: ADP is 37.

Having said that, still likely in better shape than Owen. :56:

Nah: Owen over Del Piero. Younger, more of a target man. Yes, he's more injury prone, but I'd bet my bottom dollar that when injury-free he'd last the 90 mins better than a 37 year-old Del Piero.

Very true but he has had a very good last season at Juve.

Your are severley underestimating Del Piero mate. He is still quality and would also link our midfield to Hooper perfectly and still score plenty himself. Plus he's no bad at set pieces.

It's an interesting one. If the wages were right, then yes, I'd take him. He's far better than Stokes although I wouldn't want him as a replacement for Hooper.

Nah only from Italian football. He said he still has a year or two in him.

He'll most likely end up at LA Galaxy replacing one of their designated players.

Knickers. Has hardly kicked a ball in 3 + years and looks quite content sitting on his *. He should stick to the nags and we should use our wage budget more wisely

No thanks because he's getting on and hasn't done anything significant in football in a while, can't go buying players like this any more.
