no for me tbh, thing is, when we signed keane he did a job, can michael owen do the same ? i dont think so. He may be helpfull for champions league qualifiers but knowing lenny he prefers going with the sammy set up so who would he replace ? hooper ? no thanks, past it nowadays and as folk say he is more into his horses, would not surprise me if he retired tbh.

Quality player in his time but that time was long ago so hopefully we let this one pass, he'd be on hefty wages!

No thanks, he's been dining out on his wonder goal against Argentina for a long number of years, plus he would command a huge wage, our money would be better spent elswhere.

I vaguely remember him saying he was a better striker than Henrik because you could judge Larsson for playing in an easier league. Personally I think we have better options with Hooper, Stokes, Sammy and the Youngsters but if you want to put your money where your mouth is Michael you are more than welcome

Not really mate, the guy has a phenomenal goals to games record. An out and out goalscorer, a very good proffesional, very experienced, got a thing for Celtic.

The only downside to this is his injuries. He is made of glass but.... we were saying the same thing about Craig Bellamy last year and for me he has been the best player for Liverpool by a mile this season.

If he accepted a pay-as-you-play deal to come up to Scotland, I'd be astonished!

Surely there must be more suitable players in the world that we can be looking at?

Pay as you play- fair enough but how much a game is reasonable?
He could earn more in one game than some palers get in month!

I agree with this, he is far too unreliable in the injuries department for him to be our number one signing. Never mind that he isn't actually what is required to improve our squad tactically. He is very similar to Gary Hooper; however it cannot be denied that he is an extremely capable goalscorer. He has proven that at every club he has ever been at.

Good at scoring headers as well for such a wee guy.
