hes turned into a good player down there. THe championship is a good league, Alot of the players down there could walk into our team. I wouldnt say celtic scouts are lazy, Linked with Stilic, Talking to Hooiveld,Had lot of trialists recently including Lacny etc. Most people on here also want St Ledger who is a championship defender.

The championship is only slightly better than the SPL because of Hamilton , St.Johnstone , Falkirk and St.Mirren. Chopra is an average striker , no point adding more mediocrity to our front line than we already have.
I can't recall the last time we signed a player from the Championship who turned out to be successful. Naylor , Fox , Loovens , M.Camara , Virgo are a few cases of accomplished Championship players who have failed at Celtic. Only player i can think of that i would take is Ledley , who no doubt should be playing in the EPL just now.

Chopra would score plenty goals up here (if he can stay out the bookies), at £2m he's a decent buy.

Yeah, lazy scouting. What a * stupid comment to make.
We try our best to get the players we can afford and want.

Your comment just got me thinking this might be a loan deal. I'd take that in a min.

He's actually a white English fella mate. I think he just has Indian ancestors.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
