Which backs up my point about PSG's ambitions being the CL and not the French domestic scene, which they should win by some margin anyhow, but with the weakened background since the collapse of the TV deal there, it could be seen as trying to boost the profile of the league with Messi signing, but in reality PSG don't give a fiddlers for any of the other French clubs and their ambition will be directed primarily at the CL, and if they have to sacrifice the Ligue 1 title or Coupe de France in order to win the CL, that is precisely what they will do.

 

Never want to see Messi in the EPL.

I seen a thing on YouTube of some banger phoning Talksport and saying he isn't all he's cracked up to be because he's never done it in England. That is the kinda mindest they have, as remember back to BT and the panel's waffling about how he "hasn't scored against an English side". Done that and it was "never scored in England". Done that and was "never scored against Arsenal"..

He's regularly destroyed what are supposed to be the EPL's best sides in the CL but we're supposed to believe he'd struggle against West Brom, Brighton, Watford etc.
