Do you not think think it is ridiculous that walter smith has not given him a chance in the B Team and instead opted from celtic the likes of marshall,wallace,virgo. All have barely featured for the hoops this season.

Yes! He's playing well for Celtic consistantly in the first team so I can't think of any reason why he shouldn't be in the squad.

Virgo sits on the bench for about 9-10-games as a Sub and Stephen McManus plays in the 1st team all those games and Walter Smith doesn't want him and he has been great for the bhoys since he went into the side in my opinion

apparently its because he's playing first team football for us, don't want to run the risk of him getting injured in a meaningless game, sure i read smith talking about that in the paper.

Think we can all see what he is capable of, so if we can surely Walter Smith can. Hence he maybe feels there is no need to take a look at him in this type of game as it won't be any more difficult than an SPL game. Some of the others who aren't playing 1st team football won't have had that opertunity to impress the manager..

theirs been a long history of celtic players gettin booed while playing for scotland like wee jinky (only had a few caps and look at the player he was) thats what makes me sick the bitterness , never cared about the scotland national team cause of this. celtic for me comes before everything , mcgeadys got the right idea. -

as for fans boo-ing celtic players well thats thier idiocy i for one am a celtic fan and a scotland fan anyone who plays in a rangers gersey wil get abuse while in that gersey but when in a scotland gersey i will back them
