then again after the villerreal match ,in the local evening times new paper ,he said in that ,that hes looking forward to next season for another try with celtic,,

That's a good point mate Anyway if this is true and they can't settle their differences then it has to be McGeady that leaves as no player is bigger than the club but tbh I think it's just the media trying to stir things up before our game against the huns.

If strachan sells, or allows mcgeady to leave because of this... then strachan can go & take a * to himself

 

Strachans more important than McGeady

 

No player is bigger than the club he plays for,it would be a great lose if mcgeady left us but we would move on.
When you watch him play these days he always has two or three players on him so he aint so affective as he was.
Take the money and run.

 

Whys that, because of his job title?
I'll give strachan his due for what hes done, and still is doing. Although some of his team selections, formations, tactics... have been questionable for quite a while (not just this because of the score on saturday)
Strachans team selection is bias, another reason mcgeady barely gets a game. As always strachan has his favourites.
If strachan sells or lets the best thing to come through the celtic ranks in years, then hes obviously a fool.
Fair enough if they've had a wee arguement or whatever, strachan should be takin mcgeady to the side and havin a word in his ear, in PRIVATE, and he shouldnt be on his back so much with pointing the blame at him.
If the blame lies anywhere, its down to the gaffer as hes the one in control.

 

It's still not 100% there was a row. It could be just the press trying to do their usual * before the derby game.

 

Surely they can settle their differences...

At the end of the day Strachan had a right to go nuts, with the Team heading in at half time One Nil down at home. The nature of the job is, although it's a team game - and the team did deserve and should expect the riot act being read - indeviduals have a responsibility and a jod to do, and if McGeady wasn't doing it then he should be told about it, accept the criticism and do something about it.

Hopefully neither of them have over stepped the mark and what makes this whole situation more difficult is that it was done in front if other team mate's - if the stories are to be believed - well that makes Strachan's position impossible, his role as Manager has to be respected, so there has to be a climb down by McGeady (the prefered option) or it has to be seen that he's punished in some way!

Aiden McGeady is over-rated. There are many aspects of his game lacking (he doesn't go for 50-50 balls and he doesn't head the ball to name but two). I'm not suprised if Strachan fell out with him over his performance on Saturday as he was posted missing for most of the game and that is not unusual for him. I don't believe, for a minute, there is a queue of teams waiting to sign him but if any decent offer is made I hope we take it.

I can see a revolt,celtic fans on other forums are going mental,theres gonna be * to pay if mcgeady gets shoved out the door
