If you abused your manager at junior level, you'd be suspended from the club so I dont see why a professional football would be any different.

McGeady is going to appeal this and I suspect that him and Strachan will talk through the problem and it will probably get reduced to a 1 week fine and 1 match suspension.

If McGeady doesnt apologise, if the rumours are true, the original suspension holds firm and his future at Celtic is uncertain.

If he's thinking of changing club and using this as his excuse then he should be talking to Lennon and Maloney because they'll tell him that he's making the biggest mistake of his career.

There's a difference between answering back and insulting, if McGeady feels he wasn't to blame for Hearts, he could say, Listen boss, I don't think I'm to blame today. I am not one for self-praise but merely enjoy allying myself to the underdog - with renewed gusto on this occassion! The reason? I genuinely believe the wee man may just have been doing this for the good of the club he adores. Why not sit there and say nothing? Pick up the wages and head into town (adifferent town) for a few beers with Caldwell, Wilson and the rest of the sycophants in the side who can do no wrong and foget a bad day at the office. Aiden has had a temper in the past, not exactly news now. I am tempted to think it is not as bad as Strachan is making it out to be. From the reports I've read apparently Strachan has quite the temper after a loss as well. Who knows what really happened though.
