    Ian McCall, the former Dundee United and Falkirk boss, has accepted an offer to manage Bell's Scottish First Division strugglers Queen of the South. The Dumfries-born boyhood Doonhamers fan is to sign a contract to May 2006, with the option of an additional year.

    I think he's a good manager and a fair pundit


    I also heard that Gordon Marshall has gone to Hibs, is that right?

    Aye Marshall has signed as a coach primarily but I think there is an option to sign as player-coach if need be. Not 100% on that though.

    Thought McCall had the blue-tinted specs on a wee bit last night though.
