MC Court signs ,

Well, McCourt was on Reporting Scotland tonight saying that if Aiden McGeady leaves then it leaves an opening in the team for guys like him to try and fill. Hopefully he will take advantage of that opportunity and show us all what he can do on a weekly basis.

 

C'mon Paddy, eat the right stuff and lay off the scoops, train hard and make yourself a hero!

If Paddy got more playing time i dont see why he couldnt replace him. although i would prefer him to stay and have one on either wing

 

that's like sayin hoopers gonna take the place of keano. uh, no. he can't

 

When McCourt plays, he plays well and scores, and has bags of ability. nobody is saying hooper is going to replace keane, i dont rate hooper at all.

If Mcgeady does go, we wont be able to buy a player anywhere near as good as he is, but Mccourt has the ability to be as good as him, the only difference is that Mccourt has a cracking shot as well, as much as i would prefer both of them on either wing, Mccourt is more then capable of filling his boots.

 

I think you will find that keane has been replaced on the

team sheet already.

If he doesn't choose to play here then there is no point dwelling.

whoever goes will allways be replaced. He might not be

as good but, believe me they will be replaced.

The only constant is the club & the support.

i just disagree that mccourt is even in the same vicinity as aiden in terms of quality. we can start at aiden can play for 90 minutes

 

I think Aiden is better atm, a part of that being that Mccourt isnt being played, if you actually read what paddy said, he has said that he hasnt been unfit, he is just overlooked, that isnt his fault. so if someone gave him a chance he could last the whole game.

Im saying that as a replacement i think due to the fact that we cant afford anyone anywhere near as good as aiden, that paddy would be the best replacement for him

 

I think with a good run of games paddy could be just as good as aiden, he showed a pretty wide range of passing preseason, and his shooting is infinitely better than aidens, if he stays fit he could hold a starting place, if not that he should be the first sub to come on every game.

if mcourt gets a run in the team id bet he would score more and have more assists than mcgeady. his overall game isnt great and defensively he is terrible but if he played the same minutes as mcgeady id bet he would outscore him and assist a lot more. finding a position for him is the problem. paddy needs that free role

he's played a grand total of 13 games for us, he's a midfielder and has a ratio of 1 goal to every 4 games

sammy is a striker and has a ratio of every 2.5 games!
