Won't be going till the summer surely.

He's nowhere near ready to leave tbh.

Nowhere near the player we bought. Shame, as he is some talent.

Agree with Shelby. He's miles away from that level right now.

Been a massive disappointment this season.

  4. He’s not been as good as he was last year. People saying he’s not ready for the premier league are mental, though. I’d back any of our midfielders to make it in that tourist league.

If Leicester spend money now it will be on a guaranteed starter to make sure that they stay up. He's not been great this season and looked off it. He may get bought in the summer as a project by a club.

  6. Wouldnt be in slightest bit bothered if he left this window to be honest.

Once Iwata is up to speed I think Cal mac will move forward and play as 1 of the 2 8s.

Oriley is already behind Mooy as it is.

He doesn't produce the same numbers Turnbull does.

Haksabanovic can also play there and given the options ahead of him at left wing he's probably more likely to get game time as an attacking midfielder.

Imo he's one we could sell for good money and not really miss due to our options in there. Would ideally like a replacement brought in just now but probably a bit late in the window and teams tend to jack the price up at this stage so would have the cover to allow us 4 or 5 months to source a replacement in the summer.

  7. Absolutely not ready for that level yet. He'd be an idiot to go now to be honest. He needs at least another season here performing and improving before he should consider going to the EPL.

  8. They just paid £17 million for a 20-year-old LB from FC Copenhagen. If they are stupid enough to pay stupid money for O'Riley, I'd let him go. Given that we signed Iwata at DM, I doubt O'Riley will be a regular starter going forward.

Get Ange on the phone to him.

  10. Totally agree. No chance we will be selling him this window. I doubt it even in the summer too. But time will tell on that.

  11. No question he is not at the high level he was last season. He is still a young lad though only 22 so still a significant upward curve for him yet I think. I don't see us selling him this window unless someone offers us stupid money and I don't see that happening. Beyond that though I think he needs another season beyond this one with us yet. We have to remember given he was signed last January from a much lower level he is only 1 year into playing at the top level so the fact he has hit some bumps this season is not a surprise and why I think he needs more time with us beyond the rest of this season.

  12. The disappointment talk can * off, he's the top assister in the league and has spent a significant portion of the season in a deeper role covering for Cal.

Aye he's been lacking in the goals he has last season but he is nowhere near a disappointment.

Adding stats, he scored 4 and assisted 2 in 20 last season and this season he is on 8 assists in 29 so far. Hardly dropped off a cliff, he has been unlucky not to have scored a bunch this season but is contributing a lot to this team

Of course he's been a disappointment. He's been nowhere near the player he was 8-12 months ago.

He does have the most assists in the league, but 5 of those 8 assists came before the second week of September. He's scored 0 and assisted 3 times in over 4 months.

Clearly he has loads of ability and potential, but he's underperformed this season.

  14. The start of the season was when he was in the advanced role of last season, he only got back to that role just before the early winter break, in the deeper role calmac has 1 goal and 1 assist, as a reference point. We don't expect the same sort of numbers from the deepest of our mid 3, his off the ball work has been better in a defensive sense but without the goals it looks less exciting.

They ways half the people in here are talking you'd think he'd gone full deli Ali levels of falling off things. Naw, far from it. He has played a different type of role rather than last season. Yes I'd like to see the goals back but he is a major contributor to the team not a drop and punt

  15. He’s definitely a level or two below what we saw from him last season. Wouldn’t like to see him go. I think some time on the bench watching Mooy start could kick him into gear.

  16. Don’t want to see him go but he has without doubt underperformed this season. A couple months in the deeper role of the 3 maybe didn’t help but he’s been miles off what he showed when he came in last year.

At this moment Hatate is light years ahead of him, he’s nowhere near ready to go down there and do the business imo.

Not that I don't think he couldn't get a move there. But for the benefit of his career, at 22 he'd be daft to go now.

  18. I get the impression his heads drops too easily. Huge talent but has to find a better mentality. Would be reluctant to let him go just yet but he really needs to start improving his numbers pronto.

  20. Hopefully once he gets the first one he goes on a run the rest of this season. It truly is remarkable he has not scored even one goal so far this season.
