He was decent...but overshadowed by Mooy again..

If it was the other way about....O’Riley would be a guaranteed starter because of it. I know he's got credit in the bank and been excellent for us....but no lately. Mooy looks the more confident player just now..

On a side note.....his finishing is so poor as well just now. Had to score earlier. Was a decent stop from Marshall but O'Riley gave him the chance....that has to be going in. Misses way too many like that..

I'm really surprised he hasn't scored or assisted more this season, I'm not saying he's been * or anything, and obviously he dropped into the deeper role after McGregor was injured, but towards the end of last season he looked like he was really hitting his stride and might fill the Rogic gap, but it's just not happening for him.

Is he not the top of the assist table this year?

42 shots this season and 0 goals.

Once the first lands he’ll have a little spree I think.

Incredible desire to win the ball back which occasionally goes unrecognised. He has been quiet by his own standards but an absolute must-pick for the hun game

Would prefer him in mcgregor position and calmac forward one , would give us a better balance especially chasing back

Taken out of his natural position to deputise for Mcgregors absence and now playing back in the position he had became accustomed to.
He will refind his goal scoring form, I have no worries.

Not his worst game but he badly, badly needs a goal. He looks to be lacking a bit of confidence just now and I think a major reason for that is because he hasn't scored a goal.

Reluctant to drop him for Ibrox because he always seems to play well against them.

I think it's all down to the form he showed early on in comparison to how he's performing just now but, as the stats show, he's still one of our best passers, tacklers and can still produce a Rogic like pass which can cut open tight defences.

The goals will come. He’s getting chances, sure he could be doing better with them but he’s still getting them.
Even just taking last nights game the amount of running, pressing, tackling and good forward play he does is so effective

He needs to start putting his foot through the ball. He always tries to place his shots, but doesn't get enough power in them.

We're getting used to seeing excellent performances and a style that Ange has brought.. it's easy to forget how important O'Riley is to us.. he's still young and will hopefully keep improving...

Don’t know what the * he is on this season, hopefully someone will make a good bid for him as he is a shadow of the player from last season.

Never thought he was that bad. Battled fairly well, won the ball back a good few times and progressed it fairly well. Hard working as always. Sure he gave the ball away a good bit but hard to do anything when you’ve got Forrest having a mare beside you
