They have 5 places to fill yet, they only named 21 players, 1 will be a goalie as they only have 2 just now so there's 5 spaces up for grabs, I'd still say it's unlikely but there is an outside chance,

 

Yeah I know hence why I said provisional. I don't expect him to make the final squad and I don't think he is ready for it. But you never know.

 

Reckon WC has come a season too early for him. Its a good thing for us really, if he were to go to WC, likely be just a squad filler and little or no game time. Better he has a wee rest, recharge the battries-he has had way too much game time recently with Cal being out. Plus it will keep the transfer eyes at bay for another season.

 

He will be part of the new danish team going forward I think. Usually, many players retire from International Football after a major tournament. I'd guess he will miss out on the World Cup and then he will start to get involved with the squad after that. Which would probably be the perfect time to sell him. Stock won't be much higher than that, especially if he plays a part in us getting another couple of trophies this season.

 

From what I read in the Danish papers, he is not being discussed as an option for one of the final places

 

I thought he was fantastic today, held the midfield together while Mooy/Hatate had poor games.

He had a decent game but our midfield overall was weak and he contributed to that as much as Mooy and Hatate.

 

So good for Kyogos goal, absolutely determined to win the ball back.

Will probably go under the radar but he was excellent today.

We've not really missed McGregor that much domestically and he's the reason why.

Aye he's settled in well, he won't get the type of goals Rogic used to get but his defensive side of the game is much better. Goes under the radar a lot now but thats not a bad thing.
