I’m amazed he was given MOTM. I thought he gave away the ball far too often, especially second half. Him and Hatate went through a spell where they couldn’t find a green and white jersey.

He definitely didn’t play better than Taylor, however, glad to see I wasn’t alone in thinking he played well.

Who ever gave that out must've had their eyes painted on he was awful was like him and Hatate were having a competition to see who could give it away more. Greg Taylor was head and shoulders our best player

Hatate won that particular battle with consummate ease.

It mustve been very close I like O'Riley and Hatate but they were miles off it last night. O'Riley had been of it for a while now

I thought both weren't at their best but Hatate was a wee bit better..

In hindsight it probably wasn't best sticking Kyogo in the 10 as they bypassed us with ease at time's playing out from the back..

Second half we went for it but we had O'Riley and Hatate at the edge of their box.....that's criminal at this level with no cover....having your last line of midfield so high. No wonder they blitzed us a few time's on the counter..

I’m not at all, after the first ten minutes thought he was * tremendous.

I thought he would've went Haksa in behind with Forrest and Maeda wide. Was surprised to see Kyogo in from the start

Happens when you need a win at all costs, happened to much better teams than us.

There’s a blatant naivety in Hatate’s passing which actually gets worse the longer the game goes on and he starts to tire.

You get away with it domestically, in Europe the other team is primed like a coiled spring to launch a counter attack which all stems from him taking little to no care in his thought process. It’s his biggest flaw by far.

Don’t think MOR was anywhere close to as bad.

I definitely see him being far better motivated when on a big stage rather than domestically.
I suspect he's gonna grab the first available opportunity to progress to a stronger league.
Hopefully with some decent financial gratification for the Club.

Didn’t seem like that at all at the game mate. I felt both he and Hatate were guilty of giving it away on quite a few occasions second half.

Kyogo playing was a poor decision. He basically had a free role but then that means Hatate can’t go roaming which he likes to do as it would have left us with only O’Riley in the middle of the park. If Kyogo and Giakoumakis are to play then I think it needs to be a 3-5-2 with both playing as strikers, otherwise it takes away a lot from our game.

Agree mate. O’Riley’s been getting pelters for it for a while, but from what I see, it’s Hatate who’s slightly worse for it, and it doesn’t really get called out the same.

I thought his chance in the box he took on the right foot was uncharacteristically, technically poor and he seemed to swing a lazy left foot at it.

in contrast, his curled shot was almost class

Great player for someone so young. Asked to play an unfamiliar and more disciplined role and will need time to get to grips with it. He's doing it for the team as I think his forte is in a slightly more attacking midfield role. Has everything to go to the top.
