Probably me, brilliant player, not as silky as Tam though and certainly not the greatest goal threat also.

Different attributes and style, classy and hard working.

I loved Rogic, so did Ange, but it's clear to now see why Rogic has left, Ange was always planning on using O'Riley as first choice behind the striker and Rogic is at an age now where he will want to be playing every week before retirement

We’ll do well to keep onto him for another year. Enjoy him while he’s here. Special talent that oozes class.

I don't mean to disrespect Tam but O'riley is going to far exceed him. Such a classy player for someone as young - he's another candidate for huge money when the time comes.

Tom it seems isn't even looking for a new club so I don't know about the before retirement part. More like he wanted to go out on top and on his owm terms.

Maybe but needs to start banging in goals and preferably important ones to really be talking about him exceeding Tam for us. But he most likely will go onto bigger things in his career beyond us. It will be a crime if we end up at selling him to mid/bottom table EPL fodder. Boys going to the top.

I don't mind if he isn't scoring important goals if he's creating important goals for others. One thing I've noticed about him is he celebrates team mates' goals more than he celebrates his own. The lad's a team player, and as long as he's involved in the big goals that will do for me, even if it's not him scoring them.

Nor would I especially at his current rate of assists. But a comparison to Tom has been made and Tom was a player who could do both so I think it's fair comment.

One thing I notice when I look at players celebrating goals last year was more often than not the first player over to them was Tom, so another thing they have in common. Our recruitment this past 2 seasons is something else.

Exceed him where? What idiot is interested in a player who isnt at Celtic, lol, I could say that for numerous players ffs.

Couldnt give a * what a player does once he leaves and doesnt elevate him to be a better Celtic player than a previous player. Ill base my facts on what he does in the hoops, ffs, lol.

I think he has showed plenty of times how quick footed and silky since he has been here.

Movement, footballing ability passing and when you say goal threat he set up 3 goals today.

Can’t wait to see him progress further in the coming years.

Oh by the way I wasn’t meaning you about the post bud.

Heres hoping but I very much doubt * be here that long.

Just so you know Tams goals/assist Celtic career is around the same mark as Orileys in about a tenth of his appearances so Matt has a fair whack to do.

I'm not too fussed about the goals side as we're scoring goals all over the place. O'riley is more rounded in terms of both the defensive side as well as laying it on for others.

Like I say, it's hard to talking about this without disrespecting Tam.

Unreal today - my MOTM (sorry Abada, luv u xox). Pressing, defensive work, breaking the lines. He has absolutely everything in his locker.

Surely there’s some stats whipped out by now to show just how many times he won the ball back. It was * insane

His wee touch for Abada's third was sublime, man. So easy to * that up.
