He's not done enough to justify a £25m fee yet either though.

Been here 8 months and from his early season performances needs to continue playing regular football. Luckily he's not stupid and knows that.

He’s not like Ntcham or Rogic at all, watch how often he wins the ball for us high up the park, his pressing and positioning suit Ange’s style. Just because he doesn’t have a lot of pace doesn’t mean he’s lethargic, he runs himself into the ground same as the rest of the team.

He’s not found his form yet so far this season but he will find it and will score & assist plenty this season.

He must have if the stories are true about Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool being interested.

If they can spend 68 million on a striker they can pay us 40 million for Oriley

You want to sell him but think he’s perfect for our bread and butter 40+ game domestic season?

    Makes sense.

    Massive IF.

These clubs are genuinely linked with every promising young player in world football. Not even an exaggeration.

No doubt they're watching him but 12 games last season and 4 this season isn't enough yet. He needs a couple full seasons here.

I'd be open to selling him for the right price cause I'd want us to fully embrace Ange's style of play. Here's what Kyogo had to say today in his press conference.

Kyogo: ''The way we play football is a bit unique and I think it's difficult for the opponents to play'' (against us).

journalist: ''You said about special style of soccer. Can you tell us about that''?

Kyogo: ''We are good at constantly running with possession and not allowing the opponent the time to rest. We can keep doing that consistently (...) and we can possess the ball even against difficult opponents and cause a trouble for them while controlling the game. (...) I'm confident we can do that against any opponent''.

The idea is to win the ball back as high up the pitch and as quickly as possible. O'Riley is a skilful player, no doubt about that. Do you think he's a good fit in Ange's system? Cause I think a more industrious midfielder would synergize perfectly with McGregor, Hatate, Maeda and Kyogo. Not to mention, Juranovic and Taylor never stop running up and down the flanks.

He’s hardly in the door and Ange clearly rates him but you want him punted?

Regardless of the reasoning it’s a ridiculous take. Want someone more dynamic in there, genuine competition for him, keep him on his toes? Agreed.

    Sell him though? Madness.

Completely agree and that's why I'd be looking for that for him.

I don't want to sell him so if he were to leave, which he obviously won't right now, I want it for an unrealistic, astronomical fee.

He is a top player and will no doubt be monitored by other clubs, has the chance to showcase his talent on the CL stage, that would bump up his price, but canny see him going anywhere this season.

The likelihood is O’Riley has been on peoples watch list for a while. Probably from even his Fulham days.

He ticks a lot of boxes for English teams given he qualifies as league trained. That shouldn’t be under estimated when considering pricing him. It’s why Man City have paid fortunes for guys like Grealish and Philips etc.

I would be looking for £20m+ minimum with considerable add ons probs about £10m and a decent sell on too. He’s young enough that if he really kicks on these other add ons and sell on would come.

However I am hoping no one comes in before the end of this season.

Aye O'Riley doesn't have much pace but he fits the style because he moves the ball very quickly which is one of the key components to Angeball. Think he usually only takes 2 touches, 3 at push before the ball is moved on. That and his creativity - can see why some big teams would be tracking him tbh.

Always a good sign if other clubs show interest in one of our players, they must be doing something right lol, imperative we always strive to get the best price for any player, bit of a * in terms of trying to build a team/continuity, but that's the way it it is, allows further investment.

Pure madness to sell him now with less than a week till the transfer window closes and one of our best players and even bringing in someone he might not be as good as O'Reilly and this could dent our league ambitions if he goes thats how much I rate him .

I reckon big clubs are looking at him and thinking let's bring this boy in before his price sky rockets. A good CL and world cup will see him go over the 20 million bracket I'd imagine, so makes sense for folk to be chancing their arm before that happens.

Luckily I think there's zero chance Ange or the board will allow it at this stage. He's going nowhere this window.

They aren't though, not seriously at least. Watching him maybe, along with hundreds of other players. Nothing will come of this until next season at the earliest.

His challenge this season should be to prove he's worth that type of fee.
