I had hopes we'd keep him for another season, but looks like he'll be gone now.

Fingers crossed we replace him, that's a LB, CB and a CM we need now in 11 days.

    Clocks ticking.

  2. Will be gutted to see him go. If it’s £27m, we need to seriously take the break off.

LB- Wijndal on a LTB for £7m
    LCB- O’Shea for £8m
    CM- McCowan for £1m
    CM- Engels for £9m
    LW- Toure for £5m

  3. Yeah I don't doubt it could all go * up either. This window, as it stands, has been disgraceful.

  4. If he's gone I'll be forever greatful for his contribution for us and it was a pleasure to watch him develop as player. Last season was one of the best seasons I've watched from a Celtic midfielder but he was still good for us before last season. Thought he looked good for us in Europe and he wouldn't be going for a record fee if didn't show he could play at that level. Also turned up against the Huns especially last two seasons felt he was always involved in a goal against them. However I will always respect him for never downing tools during the last two windows when big moves came in. Was always a professional. Good luck to him hope he is successful wherever he goes.

I losing MOR takes over 30 goals and assists out our team immediately.

Huns are pish but it would only take even 1 or 2 injuries and suddenly we'd have a really average looking team ourselves playing twice a week till January at the earliest.

I'm not as confident in our ability to see it through.

Regardless it shouldn't even come to that, is the point. Would literally be inexcusable. It already is tbh the way this window has gone, people would need to be sacked.

I hope he doesn’t go this year.

  8. I see Brighton have just bought that Rutter for 40m, record signing for them.

7 goals in the Championship and folk were moaning about Idahs fee:fear:

  9. Be interesting to see if there is any truth in the rumours Leeds held an interest in Mikey Johnston.

Given they have sold Gray, Rutter, Kamara, Sinisterra and Summerville for good money with Gnonto also likely to leave they are bound to have made some financial room for signings.

  12. Signed some boy from the English champ for £40m. Probably on the back of 1 good season. Money down there is beyond a joke. We need a guy hitting unreal numbers for a couple years and playing well in Europe to bet half of that.

Celtic are braced for Matt O’Riley’s exit after Brighton ramped up the bidding war for the Parkhead playmaker - and they have a contingency plan in place if he does leave.

The English Premier League outfit have made their move to open talks over a £25m plus move for the Denmark international. Celtic won’t allow O’RIley to leave on the cheap after seeing off several attempts rom Serie A Atalanta – with the Italians eventually giving up the chase following a final bid of around £20m. Brighton will have no problems meeting the asking price and the Hoops understand it will be difficult if the 23-year-old is sweet on the switch.

O’Riley has insisted he is in no hurry to leave Celts but has long term ambitions of playing in one of Europe’s major leagues, having already attracted serious attention from Italy, Spain and Germany. Several other clubs in England are also in the hunt but Fabian Hurzeler’s Seagulls have shot to the front of the queue with less than a fortnight remaining in the window. Celts have been anticipating a major move for the star man – and have several alternatives lined up if the midfielder does depart

  14. I remember him mainly as im sure I seen or heard Leeds fans talking about him as one of the biggest transfer blunders ever, I think they spent like £35million on him and he was * and they got relegated.

Somehow they've got their money back lol

  15. Will no doubt look like a superstar for Brighton though

  16. Top player - very high ceiling so hope he kicks on when he leaves unlike Jota and Tierney.

Wish he went to Atalanta though.

Also think it’ll be very hard to replace him. None of the names mentioned like Engels excite me.

  17. We should be getting a deal done on his replacement before we sell. That would mean forward planning though. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if we sell O’Riley and replace him with McCowan.

  19. Would not say i am suprised if Bernardo is the replacement and we bring in McCowan as cover for Bernardo.
