They are casually spending 25-30 million on players, yet as fast as they deal with Celtic they try to get a better player than they have already bought, for half the price. Just block their number already.

 

Clubs give permission regularly if they think that in all likelihood a deal will be reached. Obviously I don't know if that has happened here, but it wouldn't surprise me if it has.

 

One way or another I would prefer this was sorted soon as we can’t risk scrambling around with days left trying to replace him, which will need done and won’t be without him signing on the dotted line elsewhere.

Ideally he’d stay but if he was to be replaced by Engles it would be a good move for all parties. O’Riley has undoubtedly outgrown the league, he is noticeably too good to be playing at this level and whilst having him for the 8 champions league games would be great, it would also mean if Engles goes elsewhere or has another good 6 months in the bundesliga he is then out of our reach.
