I love him this season but I genuinely think he'll be off in the summer, so we need to be looking for a replacement. Some people are just too good to stay here.

Cruises games. Genuinely didn’t think we’d find a player capable of replacing Rogics ability and Matty has more to go. Has a bit more about him on the defensive side and the stamina to go a bit more than Rogic could.

He is light years ahead of anything else in this league.

I think the wider problem we have is... will he still look as handsome when he has bruises on his face?

Need to start heavily scouting his replacement.

Can't see him being here next season.

He's got everything going for him.

The media will be linking him with every club this window trying to unsettle him but seems like a very level lad who’ll help drag us to another title then leave. If he does he’ll be remembered in sort of Joe Ledley, Stan Petrov mode. Not playing wise but likability wise. Lads who weren’t born Celtic fans but always show a love who were top performers in their time here

I don’t think it’ll be the media this time their will be plenty after him. He was high up already on a lot of clubs radars when we got him, that stat based scouting system Dortmund, Liverpool Brighton etc do he was really high up on everything, but it was League 1 so that’s why we snuck in.

He’s continued that domestically, last season DM after Calmac’s injury in the CL he showed another side as an all round player, high stats again. Then this year he’s continued that and clocked up 3 quality assists in the CL, whilst scoring domestically.

Weirdly, seen Tim Sherwood talking bout scouting for Spurs to Broony, in regards ro Van Dijk and Wanyama. He said from a higher league perspective, midfielders performance in weaker leagues are rated higher because you can see the quality. Whereas strikers and defenders, could just be they’re unchallenged. Don’t quite agree with that but that’s the style of thought down there. It’s crucial for us to get him to wait till summer, and noises from O’Riley’s camp sounds like he’s happy to but he’s shown he’s very driven and not afraid to force moves or make a decision himself on his career, we need to make sure he’ll think it’s worth it to stay till summer for his career.

And sadly that’s a hard sell, business end of the season for us but no Europe, by summer his group stage will be a distant memory for a lot and big teams, like Inter, tend to only try for players like him once then chance is gone. Ajer with Milan that happened, Edouard with Inter… he’ll be very aware of that

As @Hammy89 mentioned above, we could really do to have a replacement in mind for him now.

Gronbaek would be the dream for me. He’d be about £10m.

Then I wouldn’t mind someone like Fabio Carvalho, he’s available at Liverpool on loan, could we sneak a LTB in there for £10m or so?

Callum Mcgregor is a better player and although O’Reilly was very good v the huns, McGregor was a class above.

I wanted us to sell him under Ange, but he's one of our best players under BR. It's all about the system: Ange valued ball pressure, BR values ball possession. He's one of the few Ange signings who fits BR's system. If we sell, I doubt we'll find an equally good replacement.

If I was confident we'd spend the money wisely that would help.
He's just a class act, seems to have his head screwed on and loves winning in front of the fans.

We’d genuinely be mental to sell him for less than £30m. Always performs vs the huns and was a standout in the CL for us. English homegrown. Pay up.
