I gave him a bit of a roasting before half time and then he got a lovely peach of an assist right on half time..

Second half no everything came off but he looked far more confident. Played 3 silky kinda passes/flicks within the first 10 minutes of the second half. An audacious one to Abada right side of the box and ut was flagged off. I'm sure it was on..

Anyone remember what one I'm on about? Was a beauty of a flicked pass..

Still no there though but he has the talent.....no question..

 

Turnbull's stats are very impressive there aswell.

 

Will return to good form after a slight reality check.

 

He looks so angry at times now, he gave away a silly foul and you could see he was disgusted with himself.

 

Still think he could be an outstanding player for us. People forgive us only young.

What I love about him he is not scared to try things in a game. Just needs to be more consistent with it all. And once that happens we will have a top class player.

 

His place is under threat tbh, id like to see ange give iwata a few games in the number 6 and move callum up alongside hatate.

 

I'd say his place is already gone with Mooy being the preferred option.

 

Yup, sure looking like that for now. Can only be a good thing though, this kinda competition for places throughout the team is fantastic. This is one of the strongest overall squads I can remember in my 50 odd years. Talent throughout from back to front.

 

It is a great thing, and I think Ange being true to his word regarding players not being fully committed plays a part here. JJ and GG, as good as they were for us, have *reportedly* tried to manoeuvre better deals for themselves and the big man has stood firm.

If you're not fully committed to what we're building, you are surplus to requirements. O'Riley has fallen down the pecking order and he'll need to show character to force himself back to the top of the pile. It's world class man management.

Was decent when he came on. Couple of good runs as well..

 

Was brilliant when he came on. Looked hungry and determined to make an impact.

Aye he looked right up for it and lovely finish. The first touch was the big one as he just got a toe on it and they couldn't set..

 

Excellent cameo, great performance since coming on and a fantastic goal.
He Is Back

 

Something he needs to add to his game, he's definitely got the ability to be hitting at least 5-10 goals a season for us.

 

The latter he should be hitting comfortably in this side with his ability..

 

If he gets back to his best, or close to it, we have a quality player back.

 

Had some good defensive interceptions as well.
Showed real hunger today, something which have been missing in his game for a while
