Good surname. Does anyone know his thoughts on the republican movement?

 

Celtic are set to finalise a £1.5million move for MK Dons midfielder Matt O’Riley.




A target for Swansea and Blackburn, the 21-year-old is heading to Glasgow for a medical after a personal intervention from Parkhead boss Ange Postecoglou.

Pipped to the signing of Australian international Riley McGree by Middlesbrough, Postecoglou has spoken at length to O’Riley about his plans for the future.




And that proved pivotal to securing what looks certain to be Celtic’s fifth signing of the window.



J-League trio Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchu have all checked in alongside Sligo Rovers striker Johnny Kenny.



O’Riley’s capture could be signed and sealed in time for the midfielder to join the squad in time for Saturday’s Scottish Cup clash with Alloa Athletic.

 

Some bit of business if we get it over the line. League 1 i know but if you look at the fees being paid for players in this league this is a bargain.

Such a weird swap for both clubs. We were in for Wolf, they were in for O'reily and now it looks like its completely roles reversed.

O'reily looks good but i kind of wish were signing Wolf instead (provided it was loan to buy, i don't think we could afford his transfer fee right now).

 

I want players who want to be here.

 

Don't get me wrong, I was all for signing Wolf (and still would be tbh) but the interest in him isn't exactly great. Union berlin, Rapid vienna and Swansea? Might not be as good as some of us think.

This boy only has upside, and by the sounds of it, is the best player in League 1 by quite a bit. It's really smart scouting from us.

McGowan says close to completion. Would be nice to get it announced tonight, great first 3 days of the week.

Could make his debut in 72 hours aswell.

 

If he signs on the dotted line and gets into that Denmark squad, his value will sky rocket.

 

Might be some left over in the kitty to pick up a LB and another forward(read winger) by going for O’Reily v Wolf.
