We're well out the picture here..

Was always gonna be too late after repeated failed attempts for about 3 windows or something and him consistently improving..

He's not coming here now. We've literally * it with one. Monitored the * out of him and now he's out our reach.

If the club made offer after offer and Brondby said no to everyone then what can you do. They told us under no circumstances was he for sale in janaury

Hos club said no to everyone in the winter. How is that the Celtic way? The Celtic way was that we only had one target to replace Kyogo… no plan b, c,…

Too many people in this forum forget its not just about what Celtic want, firstly the club need to want to sell and then the player needs to want to come.
I don't doubt we have nannied about in the past but it's not the case for evey player we don't get. Tiresome patter

Knowing our history in negotiations, those offers might have fallen far short of what Brondby were wanting.
Were they actually quoted as saying that? As far as I can remember there were wanting circa €12m for him. They are holding out for what they feel is an acceptable offer, which they are entitled to do.

I agree but my point still stands. Kvistgaarden wont sit on the bench like Idah does. Im pretty sure about that. He will have many options and he wont take one that has limited playing time.

But now that Jota is out for a long time it might change as we can just play Maeda at LW.

If decent German team interested, we can forget it.
We've missed multiple chances over last few windows.
I hear we are still monitoring the situation tho :32:

Unless we sell a striker, I don't think we'll be getting an expensive, young striker in. And I'd rather we kept Maeda than brought in Kvistgaarden to replace him.

We can't force clubs to sell or make players want to sign, sometimes its not the clubs fault

Are you saying if we bid around £8-9M a year to 18 months ago we wouldn't have got him?

The rumour was we bid about £4m for him at the end of Rodgers first summer but they wanted £6-6.5m and we never went back in.

That summer was a riot, hanging on for Podence and ended up with Palma too.

Exactly, could have had him for £6.5M now need to bid £12 against Bundesliga teams...

Great at monitoring....not so much acting decisively. Sometimes you need go a wee bit higher to get your man.

Hopefully that lesson learned now for the summer.

    I can’t be * with him.

Acting like he’s the only player on the planet.

Tbf he’s had an extra year of progression that he might have needed, so you pay more for a better player. Means nothing.

Wouldn’t of been starting for us if he came in then, but he might now.
