Will be extremely disappointed if he isn’t here next season. Needs to be given a run of games.

Marian Shved will NOT return to Karpaty Lviv on loan even if Neil Lennon decides to sanction a short-term move for the winger.

Shved has struggled for game time at Celtic since his move from Ukraine and has only made three appearances in a Hoops shirt. After signing initially for Celtic under Brendan Rodgers, the player was immediately loaned back to Karpaty before returning to Glasgow where he has failed to adjust thus far.

Reports recently claimed his former club Karpaty are interested in bringing him back for a third spell should manager Neil Lennon not have him in his plans for this upcoming season.

However a source close to the player has rubbished suggestions of a return to Karpaty and hinted that - should he move anywhere - it would be to play at a higher level.

There is understood to be interest in the 22-year-old from clubs in the Bundesliga and the top league in Belgium.

I don't know Shved's situation, think someone else mentioned it and I was wondering if we ever had an obviously brilliant talent who didn't realise 'cause of language. Now you mention Naka and Lubo then who cares

FERENCVAROS have entered the race for Celtic outcast Marian Shved after their manager was quizzed about his interest in the winger.

Shved has been linked with a return to his homeland after failing to impress Neil Lennon.

He made just three appearances for Celtic since his £2million move last year, as one of Brendan Rodgers' last signings.

A five minute cameo appearance against Clyde in the Scottish Cup this year was his first sighting in the Hoops since October and he's set to be allowed to leave on loan.

And Hungarian champions Ferencvaros are interested in snapping up Shved, with former Spurs striker Sergie Rebrov considering making the 22-year-old his third Ukrainian in his squad, with Igor Kharatin and Alexander Zubkov already at the Budapest club.

Ukrainian Rebrov said: "I don't want to confirm or deny my interest in Marian Shved.

"Of course I would be happy to work with another Ukrainian in the squad, but there are a number of players in all positions we are looking at.

"We are always looking to improve the squad."

Would be totally bizarre to sell him after seeing next to nothing from him since he signed.

Loan him out or give him a run...

His chances of featuring are further diminished in a 3-5-2.. was really excited seeing the potential he appeared to have, the summer pre season is prob his last chance saloon. If he isn't settled and firing by August we should sell and try recoup the money

Obviously we don't know what really is going on here but it does seem odd that Shved has been so far away from getting a shot with the first team. Have to wonder if there is something behind the scenes that is playing a role in his lack of action on the field.

Almost anyone can look class from a well put together highlights video. Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s effective over the course of 90 mins.

That is true but some of those finishes show a player who can clearly strike a ball, scoring against teams like Dynamo Kiev and Shakthar is another plus and him then slamming in a cracker after being on for all of 2 mins on his debut.

Aye he clearly has a bit of talent, just hope he can make the step up to playing for us. I haven’t seen enough of him to make a judgement, I’ve just heard he has struggled in development games.

Hahah funny I totally forgot about that. May well be the reason he has not been able to settle.

Hopefully Knuckles down and gets in with a shout. Be like a new signing. We nearly let Ryan Christie slip away and as said Shveds debut goal was a peach. Definitely has something about him.

Forgotten Celtic winger Marian Shved 's next move will be revealed shortly, according to his dad.

Shved is set to leave either permanently or on-loan in the near future having fallen into obscurity at Parkhead.

Hungarian champions Fenercvaros have been touted as a potential destination for the 22-year-old, as has a return to his homeland.

And his father, Vasily Shved, has revealed his son's future is set to be sorted in the coming days.

He said: "I think there will be clarity about Marian's next club very soon. It's in the hands of his agent now.

The Scottish league was ended prematurely and Marian returned home due to the coronavirus and he kept himself in very good shape here.

He's 22 years old, plays for a top European team and is in the Ukraine squad, so he is fine.

He still has a great future ahead of him."

Shved made just three appearances for Celtic since his £2million move last year, as one of Brendan Rodgers ' last signings.

A five minute appearance against Clyde in the Scottish Cup earlier this year was his first sighting in the Hoops since October and he looks set to be moved on soon.

    Another Brendan Rodgers special.

A decent enough higlight video on youtube would get you a contract at Celtic. Daniel Arzani too
