No he doesnt, if the games are on a Saturday and then the following Sunday then Wilson will train on the Tuesday and Thursday but it there is a midweek game then he will miss training completely, if the games are Sunday and then Saturday he will only train on the Tuesday.

If Wilson trained the same as everyone else and played every game then he'd be struggling to walk.

How do you know this? Never heard any of this before. He regularly plays midweek then on the saturday/sunday and seems fine and bombs up and down the wing for the full 90 no problem?

I think Charlies time will come. I questioned him being included in some of the team line up throughout last season but every time seemed to do well. And just seems to continue to improve with good assurance about him let's hope it continues. Thing is he has not has a long enough run at a set position to be included in the national team. think we should give him a long run at ch deserves it over the rest that's for sure. Once he plays 20+ games there and settles into the position fair enough. Until then couldn't give two hoots if he is in the squad or not.

Its nothing major its just that with his knee, it gives him pain and swells up badly after he plays a match or takes part in training but they are obviously experts and know how to deal with it and thats just what they do, they dont over work him. He can play three times a week fine but if he was training in between then it would most likely be too much hence he'd rest in between.

He never played at the weekend there, so I think he is training fully with the rest of the squad rather than playing in those games. He goes out running EVERY day though to keep fit, so the problems probably come with all the twisting, turning, jumping, sliding etc that comes with football rather than just running or doing normal stuff. The rest of the players probably dont go running at all so its not like hes unfit or lazy.

    Ha:50: fair do's

Seriously think he is that bad?

Kinda think I'm pretty fair judge and can usually spot a player. most times I watch them he seems to impress but tell you this I'm gonnae watch him more closely seen as we have such a difference of opinion. if it turns out I was wrong and as bad as you are making out ill really try to come back on and acknowledge you.:50:

Levein is a bad choice as manager and I as many others have already mentioned, am happy that neither wilson nor mulgrew have been selected (even though they merit inclusion).

No doubt they might be called up when others pull-out along with Gary Kenneth:52:.

If I was Mulgrew I'd try and get into the USA team, better chance of playing at a WC anyway.

    Good.

I would be quite happy if there were no Celtic players in the Scotland squad.

    • It would keep our players fresher
    • It would save them from picking up injuries while away on International duty
    • I couldn't give a toss about the Scottish national team

Personally, I would rather that all my players DID play for their respective national teams, but that's just me.

I like players to get international caps as it gives them a taste of playing europe up against different styles and players.

Whittaker is a wingers nightmare. They cant get to sleep the night before playing him thinking should they go round the back of him, straight past him, nutmeg him, make him foul them, use the full-back to play a 1-2 round him. Theres too many options of going past him they dont know whats best :86:
