Has there been any evidence that had anything to do with Gerrard?
Its possible they wanted a loan fee or for us to pay more of his wages.
And given our history, i know which would be the far more likely

 

Hjelde is 100% ready for fourth choice centre half. We need 1 centre half and give hjelde/Murray genuine chance and no loan

I think the excuse at the time was that they didn't like the way we dealt with youngster's on loan due to Musonda from Chelsea. Yet were happy to send plenty to the Huns under slippy, despite one's getting cut short or getting no game time..

I think it's pretty obvious they weren't keen on handing us player's on loan whilst they had him and a load of their ex staff up..

 

I actually thought it was weird how we where about to sign Ben Davis then they swept in and signed him and haven’t played him and probably never will

 

Mate that was 100% to do with Rodgers.

Liverpool briefed their main guy in the media down there and he kept going on about it and was baffled as to why Rodgers kept trying.

Because of how bad Rodgers has been with loan players and he went after Edwards when he got sacked.

Liverpool have supposedly turned down their better younger players for loans to the Huns because they don’t rate the league, that’s why they got Kent and that other boy.

Seriously doubt they’d not deal with us simply because Gerrard is the Huns manager…

 

I wouldn’t be loaning Hjelde out at all. He looks the real deal.

He’s far more potential than Welsh who won’t ever be good enough to be a first teamer here. And with Jullien and Bittons fitness he’ll get plenty of opportunities.

Can play LB as well so can get minutes there. Sign him up on a long term deal and get him involved straight away.

 

At 17 its a big ask. Theres still so much for him to learn and senior games carry a lot of pressure. Sign him on a long term deal yes, but the bottom line remains a club the size of celtic and playing in games as important as the ones coming up, we should not be relying on a 17 year old.
Whilst i think if a player is ready, they are ready, i think its very unlikely that he is.

 

Aye I'd be 100% loaning Hjelde out boy looks good Ross county loan spell went well. A year at a mid table team in our league playing every week for them this season at 17 to 18 year old would be massive for him and far better for his development than playing 4th choice at us then could see how much he's developed next season and potentially be used as back up to then eventually push his way into the team hopefully!

 

I heard a rumour that slippy was using his contacts/influence down south to get players/clubs to string us along in signing talks and then pull out of the deal as late as possible, seems a bit far fetched but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised

I don't think it's that much of a stretch when you had squinty eye's chairman who's a Liverpool fan, has a box and is pal's with their board. The reason they got slippy, McAllister, a lot of their backroom staff from the academy and plenty of loan's. Whilst rejecting any offers from us..

He played 11 games mate. He is nowhere near ready, and should not be rushed simply because we are in a mess.

 

He is getting banned for two year because he doped with EPO. He's lucky as normally that would get you a four year ban. Such a moron. But I wonder, if EPO is still used in football if that's what the huns are taking as well. Would surely have helped last season.

It's rife in all top sports, they let the elite players, teams and cash cows do what they want and make an example of lower players and teams.
Ronaldo isn't playing in his late 30s because he eats well and has cold showers.

I don't think there's any drug testing in Scotland because of issues with funding.
We all know the same rules don't apply to us though. Any word of us cheating and we would get caught and hammered.
