He's soo soo young, if he was in another squad people would be saying what a fantastic young player. He's never been given a fair chance with us, I really like him when he has played, he's held his own very well in midfield for his size and build. I would still like to see him put out on loan to another team in the SPL though. Give him a fair chance of making a name for himself without having the pressure of the old firm.

    I agree mate.

Can you name one major mistake he has made? Ledley does alot of hardwork that he doesn't get credit for. He never gives the ball away, and if you watch him he makes alot of runs into the box, its just the qaulity of ball put into him is always *. Ledley is a great player.

Crosas is too lightweight for midfield. No doubt he is a good passer, but other than that? I dont think he offers a lot. I agree that Ledley hasnt been the wonder we were hoping for but he has a better all round game. 3 managers now have seen Crosas and he still cant get a game. Bonding with the club aint excuse enough to play him. Tidy wee player who would be better in Spain where the slower pace will suit him.

He should be the lynchpin of the midfield.

The lack of strength and aggression that keeps being used to detract from his potential to be a first team regular is at least 50% myth. It's as if they can see he's slight therefore he must not be physically strong enough. The SPL is not the land of the giants.

superb at Tannadice. Excellent at Ibrox, just outshone by Kayal. Never had a bad game and adds structure to our midfield. Super ranger of passing and shooting.

He is too light in the tackle and in the force of his play. Very one paced and cant header. For all you are saying strength and aggression are an important part of the modern player, particularly in Scotland where it is essential. Kayal is a case in point. For me, he and Crosas are similar players, but Kayal plays with a passion that hasnt been evident in Crosas, to date. He has had ample opportunities to get a regular game and he hasnt shown he is capable.

For me he is just taking up a space in the squad now and would be better moving on.

What when ledley was outshone by the hamilton midfield? and basically never got a kick of the ball! Very average player, when playing at celtic its not about just not making mistakes, Its about grabbing the game with the scruff of the neck and making things happen! Specially when your on 25k a week!

P.S im sure he gave away the ball for the goodwillie goal at tannadice, maybe wrong though was absolutly wrecked at the game!

Does the saying "strength in depth" mean nothing to you?

If you play Crosas alongside Brown or Kayal he'd do just fine. Let Brown and Kayal do the tackling and closing down and let Crosas get on the ball and spray it about.

Celtic played some lovely football last season when Crosas/N'Guemo played together in central midfield. Brown and Kayal are both better than N'Guemo so I see no reason why playing Crosas with one of those two wouldn't work.

Even better would be a 3 man central midfield...........

    Brown------Crosas------Kayal

Crosas would get the freedom take on the role of playmaker and would have the protection of having two tackling midfielders beside him. Scott Brown also played the best football of his career in a 3 man central midfield. Win-win situation.

Think Crosas is a decent player and a * top quality man! A bit of a cult hero but whether he will ever break into the team is questionable. But he says he wants to stay and fight for his place so he should be given the opportunity to do that.

Brilliant player and have said it countless times on here. Sadly some fans would rather see a big McCulloch in our team than a talented footballer which means that Crosas is never going to be their cup of tea.
