Sounds good to me. Even with Sno (who I rate for the future, like 5 years away), Donati and Hartley, we don't have a proper holding midfielder. Donati's a central mid but is * defending and gets lost going forward, I like Hartley, he's got he right attitude, but its not a natural position for him. If this guy is your standard European holding midfielder with some fight in him i's say jump on it. We'll reap the benefits in the CL. Stick in a buy later clause a la Sammy, with a Buy Back clause for Barce and we're on to something.

we need a holding midfielder who is natural in the position. If he's even mentioned in the same breath as Xavi then he must be good because Xavi is World Class.

There not natural there though. Neither of them are as good as this guy as holding the ball, staying back. I like Robbo and Hartley, they embody what you need as a footballer mentally. Just think in big European matches, having the technical skill as well would be a better option.

I can think of another midfielder who came to Scotland from Barca after spending a year in France on loan. Mikel Arteta, always though he was a real threat against us and he moved on to have another good year in spain and has shown his quality in the premiership. Would love to see Crosas get a chance with us.

yeah I think he sounds good get him in and if possible sign him permanently although as ive said b4 theres planety of good young guys at teams like barca who are choking to playand we should be signing more of them on loan at the very least

Welcome mate, dunno, they were over here weren't they? Perhaps we were made aware that he was available seeing as we have built up a decent rapport over the past few seasons with them.

But you never know whats been going on behind the scenes....:97::97::97:

Well Tamster when you see Liverpool paying £20 million + on Robbie * Keane then you know we barely stand a chance when it comes to internationally recognised players.

i'm with you on that one! :50:

If you check the figures with the ins and outs, Celtic have spent next to hee haw over the last couple of years. The fans are owed a decent signing.

    A bit harsh mate!

Who the f>ck mentioned Flo? So your perfectly happy with £150,000 paddy then? Well I'm not! I think celtic can affort a few million here and there for a couple of quality players.

I am happy getting a quality player on loan in a position that although we do already have cover for, could excel in it and boost our overall performance and if he does so excel we can purchase him for a good price next year.

It's already a well known fact that we'll be bringing in decent signings in the DC and LB positions. Just * wait.

Just to reiterate THIS PLAYER WILL COME IN ON LOAN IN THE DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD POSITION IN ORDER TO BOOST THE OVERALL QUALITY OF OUR SQUAD GIVE US MORE DEPTH IT IS A NO RISK INVESTMENT.
