have a go, we dont have a secure enough defence to sit on for 90mins, plus the mancs wont expect it

in regards to who we have beaten this season, you can only beat whats in front of you. IF we win this match and beat *, will you then say that 'thay haven't even played chelsea yet'

spurs did not deserve a point. they played the long ball all game and only started threatening in about the 65 min. a fair result, score wise, would have 2-1.

You all are deluding yourselves if you think were are hyping ourselves up. we are good team, as are yourselves, but we are playing great football at the minute and look dangerous everytime we go forward. With scholes returning and spraying the passes about and rooney bulldozing anyone in front of him, i think we may JUST have enough.

scholes has played against most of the worlds best midfielders, in terms of ability and aggression. he very rarely gets shaken or outclassed.

we all know man u are a good team who are on form mate, we are being optimistic. at the end of the day the 22 players on the pitch are all human its 11 v 11 anything can happen, we were writin off in 67 against the might of inter, no one gave us a chance but we played them off the park, greece champions of europe who would have bet on that. strange things happen in football.

I think that's the key. IF TG gets to play, we'll make a game of it alright but if he gets stuck defending then Naka and McGeady won't get into the game and we'll be chasing shadows all night.
If Lennon plays, he needs to have the best game of his life to give TG a chance to go forward.

we have got to go and have a go as our defence is simply not good enough with mcgeadys/ millers runnin ,nakas passin we just got to hope when we get a chance we take it cos we will get chances goin by watchin them this season and i seem to remember miller puttin utd to the sword a few seasons ago .....................CMON CELTIC

 

that goal, imo, cost us the league, Rio started his ban, we were 4 points clear of * and chelski at the top and then lost. Wes brown slipped and miller went clear

rooney is a class act but lennon and graveson are experienced enough to wind him up hes just back from suspension and will be like unleashin a bulldog remember edgar davids comin back against the hoops and got sent packin instantly,its gonna be backs to the wall for massive parts of this game but we have enough up front to give any defence problems.....mon the hoops

I think this match is a tough one to call. Man Utd are one, if not the best team in Premiership and are strong at the moment. The only real element of our game that would maybe help us in the early stages is tough tackling and fast hard hitting football. If we have the front 6 (4 midfield and 2 forwards) chase everything and I mean everything for at least 70-80 minutes it will frustrate man utd because Ive seen it happen when theyve played lesser opposition at Old trafford and a result or mear abouts has been successful for wee teams.
Graveson track Scholes Jarosik sit between ronaldo and scholes as ronaldo like to come inside then out. Naylors gona have a tough game ahead and need to double up on Ronaldo as many teams do and it worked in world cup, a man behind firt defender will stop any 50 50 balls that come out which ronaldo loves to latch onto. Rooney, * *...If we had petrov it would have helped but If Rooney drops to collect the ball then its gna be tough cus he always does it with results so need someone to track him all over and kick and boot him every chance we get. Up front I think long ball will work for a while as Man u will push for an early goal. Carrick may be in ther but if we play as a unit all the way through and frustrate them I cant see why we cant get at least a point. Set pieces are a worry against Man utd but even our defence has been weak so im worried about that.

Overall we can get something and with new players making us able to adapt and change our game in ways we never have had before (Nakas point is valid as we still have to draw out of these new guys some of their game to give diversity and depth to tactics)

 

ronaldo is out for tonite our main threat is our inexperienced defence no doubt about it we r up against it but arent we always that wit champions league is all about ,as long as we dont get pumped and put in a decent shift, if we were to try and sit back that would go against everything wee strach has said since he got the job, my guess 2-2
