    I texted my mate 'Fkn chinkys. Fk it. There's enough dogs in Glasgow for us all to go around.' when we signed Ki.

    When I looked in the Transfer Rumours section today I thought 'Not many white faces among that lot but worth considering'.

    But hey, we all do that sort of stuff...do we?

    Words are all about context too. Calling something a "*" as a slang or shorthand way for an Indian restaurant isn't (or shouldn't be) offensive if it's not used in a derogatory manner.

    I think calling your new South Korean signing a "* chinky" is a bit derogatory, don't you think?

    not really just the same as im ordering a * chinky just depends if * is part of your vocabulary or not.if the guy saying * chinky is raging and disgusted about signing an asian man then yeah it is racist.everybodys views are different.

    To be fair some of the * I went to school with would probably find homophobic, sexist & racist chat funny, but I drifted away from that crowd when I started working abroad.

    Maybe I live in a United Colours Of Benetton advert! :icon_mrgreen:
