A lot of people seem to think that Magic is off. but does anyone actually want him to go. If you look at his 2 seasons here he hasnt done that bad. 1st season top goalscorer
2nd season he was plagued by injury and only made 22 starts in Scottish Compititions and was mostly unfit in these games yet he still scored 10 goals.

Personally I think that we should keep him at least until christmas and see how he performs for the 1st half of the season.

Wouldn't lose sleep if he left to be honest. Good enough finisher but if we are trying to find a partner for JVOH then Magic is not the man.

Some people are def too quick to offload. Magic is a good striker, just needs to be fit again. I agree he's not an ideal partner for JVOH but he is good cover.

I think Magic will be back to his best this season, I expect him and JVOH to be our main partnership up front. He had a bad season this year, he never fully recovered from his hamstring injury from the World Cup, but still managed a goal every second game.
Too many people have written off Magic, I hope a few are eating their words next year.

Will he settle for being cover though? I do think he is a good finisher, as I already said, but if he is not starting many games I don't think he will hang about.

thats the thing. if magic wants to leave then we should make no effort to keep him as he isnt THAT good, but I dont feel that we should make an effort or make it any priority to offload him.

Right now as things stand given we have signed McDonald and Killen I would be happy to see us sell Miller and Beattie.
But I agree at this point I would keep Zurawski. It is always difficult for players the season after having spent the summer playing for their country at a major finals. So I would not be surprised to see Zurawski back to his best next season after getting a break this summer.

His first season made him look like a very promising player. However, his second season I personally think he lost it mentally, he was sluggish and never looked completely focussed. If he played a bit more like Miller, in respect that he wasnt a lazy *, then he'd be a cracking player for us. Hope we keep him for now.

Expect of if we sign a new "major striker signing", I say keep him.

He's still scoring goals and will do it in the future aswell. Better than McD and Killen. And have internal experience at the best level.

    * He played for Poland under the World Cup and have'd played nonstop until Strachan dropped him.

    * Unlucky injury.

    * When he finally got his chances as starter it too often were in a 4-5-1 system. And Magic isn't a lonely striker. I think he will be better with a partner up front as VoH. How many games did they play together this season ?

Get Rid!! The guy shows no interest wotsoever! How many times this season was he chasing balls and fightn 50-50's..... NONE!

He played well his first season, but the start of this season he was no where to be seen. His heart was left in his first season, all we had left was sum1 warming the treatment table. Too many foreigners * across to Celtic and seem to be always injured! Think that he is happy to sit here and get paid for nowt.

He was mince in the World Cup, played three games and then had his break. Not buying into this tiredness thing, I only get two weeks of from my work in the summer and cant complain about tiredness when I get bak. He even got an extended time off from Celtic. Lazy B******d, not a tired one.

He just looks un-interested,his heart ain't in it and maybe Strachan should be motivating him a little bit. There are too many players currently at Celtic who just look un-interested and bored and feel happy to pick up a pay check but capable of a lot more

    That's some stupid argue.

First of all. Are you a footballer? If not you can't compare.

Second. The World Cup isn't only about some matches. You train with the team, travel around etc. when not-World Cup players have vacation.

I don't say it explain it all. But to say he can't be tired is just very stupid.

    Get a grip yourself.

he is a good striker, a good finisher and in the game he played just before his most recent injury i saw him working the right - wing like a headless chicken on steroids, setting up balls for JVOH. It is this that makes me think we should keep him - he scores goals, he is beginning to work hard setting up goals and he is beginning to form a decent partenership with Jan.

too many times this season GS brought him back to early because he realised we needed a player like Magic up front yet he still managed to score 10 goals - more than every other striker bar 1 plus every midfielder (not sure about naka). Also GS likes him...
