Madrid as good as barca ?

barcelona rely heavily on messi imo while madrid aren't relying soley on ronaldo .
barcelona still edge it for me but only because they have messi

 

if you took away messi and ronaldo barca would still be better

 

I think it will come down to the head to heads this season (as ever I suppose) and Barca will win both of them. Surely Mourinho will get his tactics right this time and not be defensive so I don't think there will be another 5-0 demolition but Barca should edge both the el clasicos and win the league, and all other trophies for that matter.

Even though they are mega rich and so not really underdogs, I actually feel sorry for Madrid and Ronaldo Imagine being that good at football, and still not being the best?!?! It would drive me crackers.
It's like if Ronny scores 3, Messi scores 4 - * crazy.

Great for all us neutrals though, the best era for football for a long while (certainly all my life - 20 years)

 

This is something that is actually getting quite annoying, We are all Celtic fans on this forum, (well i assume so) what is it that makes you think we all love barcelona for any other reason than the fact they play the best football in the world.

I personally couldn't care less about Barcelona and how they do, i just like to watch good football, and if i think Real Madrid are the better team, i will gladly let you know that, I prefer barcelona because their ability to dominate any team in the world is to be admired,.

The only person who is blinded by their love of a team is you and Real Madrid.

 

Really enjoying watching Real Madrid this season, Ronaldo is really on form right now. I actually think they will win La Liga and get the better of Barca this time round.

 

If Madrid can win their next four games they will be champions in my opinion.

The worry I have is that Madrid seem to be beating the lesser teams to easily whereas Barça have struggled to find form.

I would say the reason for that is Madrid had a fantastic pre season and Barça had a really * one. That showed in the Spanish Super Cup.

Squad size is also a major concern. As Madrid can put out an entirely different team every week and still win. Barça probably couldn't.

I think head to head we are still superior and for that reason i am sure Puyol will definitely be lifting the Champions League trophy in Munich. But La Liga could prove to be tricky this year.

 

Don't think there near Barca if im honest, Barca having a bad run of form, Real having a good run.

 

Madrid are looking much better now but when the 2 sides play at the top of their form i think Barcelona will still be too good for them...

 

Not a chance in * Pep is a better manager than Mourinho.

I'm glad its closer sick of it just being barca barca barca, as much as I like to see them do well. Would love a nice tense finish for la liga this year

Real are focused on defending first and hit you on the counter.

Barca realise that if they have the ball, they are the only team who can score and wear down the opponents patiently.

El Classico will be the first indicator......

Yeah they bought it. Manchester City in 100 years could be seen as the biggest and most successful club in the world because they bought success.

 

And Rangers The Sons Of Orange are the most successful team in the world I'll have you know.

 

Mourinho is a wind up merchant with zero class who enjoys playing anti football and ruining Madrid's image as the good guys of football.

No doubt he gets results in the end but Pep is better at the moment.

I would love to see Mourinho and Pep manage mid table sides as I think it would be interesting.

 

What makes Barça's superiority more impressive is the fact that Madrid have tried desperately to buy success in order to emulate the Galácticos era. Real Madrid have failed to do so against a vastly talented Barcelona squad that predominantly consists of players that have been nurtured through their youth ranks.
