The blame lies at the foot of the parents regardless of what happened to the girl. She should never have been left home alone

There's a web blog out there called something like themcannfiles. It will blow your minds.

Several eye witness statements and gob smacking statements that are all ignored.
Nobody finds it odd they get on the phone to Sky News at the same time as the police? Nobody finds it odd that 3 eye witnesses describe Gerry carrying a blonde haired girl who looked 'asleep' towards the beach, an hour or so before the alarm was raised.
Not to mention the sniffer dogs, their refusal to answer the questions of the people who are trying to help them find her.... Bizarre.

Thanks for telling us about that mate:50:

Great wee website. From everything I have read and watched on T.V. over the years it seems there is more evidence of a cover up than an abduction. The only evidence they have of an abduction is one of the friends of the Mccans dodgy 'sighting' of a man and a girl in pyjamas. Whereas the cadaver dogs smelled her blood in the back of their frigging car.

I honestly believe, like the detectives, that Madeline had an accident and died or has been over-dosed 'accidently' and it has been covered up.

The way the Mccans have whored themselves to the media and acted after her death was mental. They were smiling and laughing and getting on as normal within months (pictured by the press) then crying on television. Disgusting human beings, being afforded the luxury of not receiving a prison sentence due to their profession and the media backlash towards Portugal.

That's a horrible thing to say.

There was blood in the back seat, so what? Did you ever have a nose bleed as a child? Did you ever fall and cut your leg/arm?

Of course they were going to get one with life! They have two other young children! They had to!

What is? I feel deeply, deeply sorry for the child and her siblings, however her parents were fools and are partly to blame for her death.

Can I also point out, this was in the BOOT of the car - not the backseat. And the car was a rental, not their usual car.

They're not 'disgusting human beings', though.

Do you really think it was just their decision? They were with a party of 8 (I think) I bet they were telling them how it'd be fine to leave them for a while.

I was harsh there, fair enough. However, had this been a mother and father, who were living in a council estate and went to the pub with their merry band of 8, who also happened to be of such a lowly class, do you honestly believed they would be treated similarly, in any way shape or form?

NO! They would be imprisoned for child neglect and the media and masses would be whipping up hysteria, calling for their 'scummy' heads, saying this is what is wrong with society.

They were adults, they made the choice not to take their children out, they made the choice to actually go out. I mean who would do that in a foreign country? It is common sense.

I swear one of the efits actually looks like her dad

I think crime watch are doing a special on it tomorrow night, on it they interview the parents and on the advert her says "we are not done anything wrong, the person who took have did" (something along those lines) when I hear that I just want to scream in her face, it only happened because you left your kids alone. seriously, don't go out and this would never of happened

While they must live everyday with the knowledge that their negligence lead to their kid being adbucted, I think the McCanns were spared the intesive trial by media/witchhunt that usually accompanies these incidents. The "we did nothing wrong" is pathetic. Ok, they did recieve some criticism but then it died down, The line that's trotted out - "the flat was in sight from their table at the restuarant" is pointless. The fact remains they left 3 children alone while going out for drinks and food. If you left you kid alone and went out on the lash, social services would be on you and quite rightly. Maybe I am being crass and insensitive, but I genuinely believe that if it were an unemployed, lower class family on benifits, the Daily Mail, Express and the other rags would have crucified the family. Two well-to-do, middleclass doctors neglect their children, leave them to go out with mates and it's a wrap on the knuckles.

I hope they do find out what happened to the wee girl, the recent case in America with Ariel Castro proves that there might be a "happy" resolution, but the McCanns can't play the victim line. They were careless and that lead to their child being abducted. Sadly they paid the harshest price

there was a family from Ireland who were interviewed on t.v.
the dad said they were all out for a meal and a few drinks when he bumped into a guy carrying a young blond girl who looked like she was sleeping. but the thing was, they all flew back the next day and new nothing about the wee lassie, but while at home watching the news he said he watched maddies dad walking down the airplane stairs and even though he never new his name he said ''that was the man with the little girl'' couldn't positively I.D the face, but said he recognised the mans walk.

I dont believe the parents were involved at all. Simple fact is the body would have been found by now, unless they are master criminals who avoided the 30 mile police search.

There guilty of neglect at the very least should not leave kids in a room themselves no excuses plus they are well off so am sure they could have got a nanny if they wanted to go and have night time fun so they have themselves to blame for this. Bet we would be in trouble if we done it why should they get away with child neglect.
