Luke McCowan

I hope he does.

 

McCowan is showing us good players get better when surrounded by other good players, I knew Luke was decent but he's so much better than that and but for a consistent Engels and at times breathtaking passing from Hatate McCowan would be starting and starring every week with us.

 

He was well off it when he first came on, just took him a wee while to get to the pace of the game and then he brought great energy to the game, quality assist too.

 

McLean gets a call up but McCowan doesn't

 

Hardly a surprise tbf, McLean is a well established member of the squad who's been starting games for Scotland. It's Miller who's taken the place that was up for grabs.

Which I've no complaints about actually. Feel they could have picked one less striker for a midfielder

 

Couldn’t give a * if Scotland called up Sean Batty and Susan Calman. Luke will have many better days with us than he could with that mob.

 

Any Irish in him?

 

McLean is *, so him being a well established member of the squad doesn't stop that. He's old as well and needs to be dropped.

I think there is little point in having Nisbet in the squad, he's always been dogshit for Scotland, and considering how * are strikers are that's quite an achievement.

 

Clark rates him and trusts him, he was always gonna make the squad

 

Punt in summer. Not good enough, lightweight, wants an hour on the ball.

 

Hes nowhere....and I mean nowhere near the level required..

 

Too slow for me but wouldn't get rid. Decent wee player against your Dundee's and St Mirren's...

 

Laughable people thought he could be our captain.

 

But that’s not who we measure ourselves against. Can’t have a player that is getting overran as bad as he is.

 

I get that and agree but still a useful squad player to have against the dross in the league. Ideally we get better in the Summer, hopefully with a bit more physicality.

He’s a useful enough player but today was an embarrassing performance. Looked totally out of his depth.

 

Can pick a wee pass here and there but goes missing in every single challenge and gets overrun..

Should be about 7th in the pecking order down the line..

 

Not his best game but he got an assist and was the only player to try and play balls in behind to Maeda.
