I know it's another forum, but you should see the stick he was getting on KDS, was unbelievable.

Been one of the very few bright spots this season, boy is clearly a player.

Breakthrough moment for Jota for me was his winning goal away against Aberdeen, which was in November or so.

Not sure Palma is that far off Jota at all as he's definitely been contributing. Jota blew hot and cold for games in a row too. Would say the same about Palma.

Jota is levels above Palma in his all round play. Palma has contributed fairly well so far but there's a lot that is frustrating about his game, especially when it comes to his pressing.

Does he move him to the right against the Huns? Their RB is terrified of Maeda’s pace.

    It's a conundrum..

Maeda for me has to start on the left or he doesn't play..

Could we drop a Bernardo out and stick Palma more centre as one of the 8/10's?

Who would then go right? Abada would've been an obvious choice..

I would still prefer Maeda on the right rather than MJ and Yang combined.
I don't think Palma gonna be moved to a different position.

    Abada's been a huge miss.

If shifted to the right, Palma would face Barišić, who isn't the fastest. And he could cross to Kyogo without delay.

He has five goals and eight assists in 14 games for us, domestically. He is the least of our concerns.

He should be the most of our concerns really, if he was to get injured we'd be absolutley *.

He's the only * in the squad really getting crosses and passes into the box. Probably done Triple at least what Taylor, Johnston, Maeda, Forrest and Yang did combined. Was the same the game before as well.

Taylor hardly gets a ball past the first guy, Mikey Johnston even worse and Forrest and Alistair Johnston rarely try anything and then Yang is like between Mikey Johnston and Forrest where he barely attempts to put a ball in but when he does it's as bad as Mikey.

Mental the lack of delivery from out wide.

Probably due to not enough quick forward passing. Everything goes side and back so the opposition always have their box surrounded. Only Palma actually beats a man and can get a ball in on his own.

We need to sign someone else who can put a ball in, two i'd say a guy to play on the right and a left-back who can overlap with a bit of pace and physicality.

See in recent games even when he hasn’t contributed a goal or an assist you can guarantee at some point in that game he put a ball in for someone to have a sitter and has missed a couple of decent chances himself or pulled out good saves.

Hearts he should have scored at the back post and his ball over the top to Kyogo should have been put away. He has given guys great headed chances they have flopped, denied by Maeda’s laces vs Lazio and a second agaisnt Feyenoord by a very good save with the keepers leg/ foot.

His dribbling can be hit or a miss at times but he does more good than bad for me. His fitness probably needs to improve a little to last longer in games being effective but the bigger issue there is our lack of depth in the squad.

If we got a good dribbling right winger preferably left footed, Palma, Maeda and Abada would be a decent set of options for our wide players. All be it we may need an Abada replacement come the summer.

I also think he would suit playing with a traditional bombing on left back. Someone who will get beyond him and carry a threat. Or even someone who has pace that he can play in. It also hasn’t helped we haven’t had a settled left sided centre attacking midfielder that he can build a partnership with. You would suspect Hatate and Palma could build a good understanding as Hatate makes some great runs in wide areas.

Would love to see him on the scoresheet at Dens Park.

This will be the guy that buries the huns on the 30th. Very little doubt about it.

    This

Puts in some good crosses and he’s scored a few (albeit, not enough from open play), but all too often he’s frustrating as *

    Show pony.

He has, but better finishing and we're praising him for 2 or 3 assists

He’s quality but he’s having a shiter, don’t have to be fancy all the time.Every chance the next time he’s in front of goal he’ll bury it,same with Kyogo.I’m just stressing because we’ve seen this show before, not taking our chances and not changing things until the last minutes.

Scary how much we are relying on this * to do anything, recent games he seems the only * crossing and passing into the box and doing anything.

Absolutley * all from Johnston, Yang, Bernabei, Mikey Johnston and only the odd one thing from Taylor or Forrest.

Meanwhile Palma is having 2/3 decent shots and putting 6/7 decent balls in a game himself.
