Luis Palma has become a player for @LechPoznan

The player has joined Poznań on a one-year loan from @Celticfc. As I reported, the agreement includes a clause worth approximately 4.5 million euros. Palma also had offers from MLS, Turkey, and the English Championship.

 

We’ll always have the Lazio goal before it got ruled offside.

Interesting move. Hope it works out well for him. I would have thought a move to MLS would have been ideal for Palma so surprised a bit by this move. But again hope it goes really well for Palma.

 

We need him to do well there, hopefully goes on to get 10 goals and 10 assists and someone buys him for £4-5million.

 

This does seem like a strange move for him especially given the other interest. Even the Lech Poznan statement makes it sound like there is no chance they buy him and he is just being brought in as a high quality option (their words not mine) to cover a long term injury in their squad.

 

Hopefully he has a really good season for them and that leads to some decent offers to buy him come next summer. He is a good guy so I wish Palma nothing but the best.

 

I wanted him loaned to the Championship for that reason. He’s capable of providing some brilliant highlight moments, a handful of them down there on loan suddenly brings a lot more value. Look at MJ’s fee as the best example for that

 

Good point and I would agree. Again for me this loan seems a bit strange to me. But hopefully it works out well for Palma and he has a really good season.

 

Is there a chance we could play them in the qualifier?

 

It's possible, not sure I see them getting to the play off round though
