Thought he would have done well for us, had a few good showings off the bench occasionally in brief spells for moments. Glimpses of class sporadically, outbursts of skill on rare instances.....okay he looked stylish in the jersey. Might well of been our style of play that didn't suit him but 'the hoops' in all their splendour, did, fashionably. Hope he does well in the future, it just didn't work out for him here.

Celtic FC has a clear stance on Luis Palma, and Scotland already knows what the decision is.

The Scottish club has already defined its plans for the future of Honduran Luis Palma for next season

Playing for Olympiacos, but belonging to Celtic. That's the current status of Honduran Luis Enrique Palma.

The Honduran winger arrived in Piraeus, Greece in January 2025 via loan from Glasgow, Scotland

The Prince 's departure from Celtic Park came in a strange way: the player had an excellent first season but after a couple of injuries, he completely fell out of the manager's plans, Brendan Rodgers

Given this situation, the player asked to leave in order to get playing time, and that's when the possibility of returning to Greek football arose

According to information provided by Fútbol Centroamérica , Rodgers' stance and attitude toward the Honduran has not changed at all.

The coach believes that Daizen Maeda and, above all, Jota , the recent signing in the winter transfer market, have the cover for that position.

That's why the Scottish club has already defined its position: to achieve the closest possible sale price to its original investment

It's worth remembering that Palma arrived in Scotland for €4.1 million when he was purchased from Aris Thessaloniki.

Olympiacos' €4 million net option is The Bhoys ' top priority for selling the player.

Despite this, sources close to the club assure that if the deal doesn't materialize for that amount, they would be willing to lower their demands, always with the higher premium of getting as close as possible to what was paid in 2023.

As Fútbol Centroamérica exclusively reported on March 5 , Olympiacos is considering exercising the clause to sign the Honduran.

The Honduran player's impressions have been very positive, and José Luis Mendilibar, who signed a one-year contract, is positive about the player continuing for the 2026-2027 season.

Sources close to the player also claim that Palma Oseguera 's desire is not to return to Celtic.

The winger does not want to return to Celtic under any circumstances, having felt markedly mistreated by the club in recent months

Although nothing has been signed, our journalist Álvaro De La Rocha has learned the scoop that the 'Rojiblancos' intend , if the clause is exercised, to offer the Honduran star a four-year contract

With everything still to be decided in the coming months, the Honduran's future appears to be that he will leave Celtic to continue at Olympiacos, or… will another team emerge

Great photo and advertising opportunity for the new strip. :50:
A club for all (apparent eye-candy for the ladies or so I hear from my household :100:):39:

I'd rather stick to footballing prowess but what do I know. Has he improved sufficiently to become an impact player because I don't think he'd be a regular starter in a Rodgers team here. A fair weather player for sunnier climates, hardly a battle hardened, weathered warrior for the dank, wet, muddy, miserable conditions we play in for the majority time.

Nobody has contacted Luis Palma from Celtic with Dynamo

As reported by Dynamo.kiev.ua, the information that Kyiv’s Dynamo was offered to acquire the midfielder from the Scottish Celtic, Luis Palma, is not

No inquiries have been made to the Ukrainian club regarding this 25-year-old Honduran legionnaire.

Additionally, this season Palma is playing on loan at Greek Olympiacos (10 matches, 1 goal) and this club has the option to buy the transfer rights for the midfielder for £3.5 million.

I still have the fear he is going to end up back here. He has barely started for them and not really done that much since going there bar one cup game.

Olympiacos will not be taking up their option to sign Celtic winger Luis Palma on a permanent deal next summer - according to a report.

The Honduras international joined the Greek giants on loan back in January, and has helped the Piraeus side wrap up a record 48th title with three games to spare

Palma has registered one goal and one assist in 10 appearances and will be hoping to pick up another piece of silverware when Olympiakos face OFI Crete in the final of the Greek Cup next month.

However, Honduran outlet EDN TV claim that the showpiece event could be his last outing for the Red-Whites, with Olympiakos deciding against signing the 25-year-old on a permanent basis.

The reigning Conference League champions do have the option to purchase Palma outright for £3.5million, with Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev rumoured to be lining up a bid of the same value in the summer window.

Could be a good chance for him now with Jota being injured

I think he gets sold at a heavily reduced price. Rodgers obviously doesn't think he has a place at the club.

I actually think he's one that could weirdly have a breakout season and be worth a few quid if he's given the chance . But I doubt he will, Rodgers sent him on loan with an option to buy for a reason.

No question he has talent but I still think we will sell Palma if we get an offer that at least matches what we paid for him or something in that region which was I believe about 4.2m euro.

Olympiacos have informed Celtic they won't be signing Luis Palma permanently.

Palma joined the Greek club on loan in January after only one league start for Celtic in the first half of the season.

He was part of Olympiacos' title-winning celebrations, but made just two starts for the Athens side.

The club is not prepared to meet the £3.5 million clause needed to make the loan permanent.

Greek reports state that Palma will return to Glasgow after the Greek Cup Final and the last league game of the season against Panathinaikos on Sunday.

Olympiacos' manager, Jose Luis Mendilibar, has not frequently played the Honduran internationalist.

Last month, Mendilibar said: "I have already made my decisions about the players who will stay and who will go at the end of the season.

"And it will be very difficult for them to change my mind in the remaining games of the season."

Palma, who has been used sparingly by Olympiacos, now faces an uncertain future upon his return to Celtic.

He still has three years remaining on his contract at Parkhead.
