I feel like this guys the new Ben Hutchinson.

 

He's better than Queens Park, why the * we didn't send him out earlier in the season on loan is baffling he's 19 coming onto 20 next month he needed game time at the start of season in lower divisions not now to Scottish league * 2, could easily play Scottish Champ.

Sums this * club up, absolutely no pathway for our younger players at all, no wonder they want to leave.

 

Being honest I think based on the limited I have seen of Connell he could easily play SPL. He could have actually easily been used to give McGregor a rest in games. That has probably been hindered by how shocking we have been this season. Strangely he seemed overlooked in preseason completely baring the bounce game with Hibs were he was very good.

 

Has he even made the bench this season?

Really think it's players like him we should be playing the rest of the season to see how they fare.

 

More than good enough to be playing a part for us in my opinion but should be on loan to another Premiership side at a minimum.

Loan doing wonders for Hjelde just now at County. Ajer and Christie also benefited massively from their moves to Killie and Aberdeen.

Connell has been completely wasted since he joined. Came with a massive reputation but because the club are so behind the times our youngsters don’t get a chance despite the “experienced heads” constantly letting us down this season.

Amount of money we waste on dross is absolutely criminal. Imagine where we would be if we just invested a fraction of that money in a DOF, coach, backroom team and scouting network when Rodgers left. An investment that would have been a lot cheaper than the fees and wages wasted on certain players and would have made CL qualifications a more common occurrence in recent years which would have brought massive amounts of money into the club to keep moving forward and improving.


Going for the cheap and uninspiring option in Lennon has been a complete and utter disaster. Paying just that extra bit in wages on a coach who knows exactly how to set up a team is returned ten fold with the income he brings in via developing/selling on players and European qualification.

I will never understand why any club in the world would want to go and show ambition by appointing a great manager in Rodgers and then the ambition shown in the next appointment is completely polar opposite to that.

 

He was playing in the championship for Bolton a few years back.

* are we doing to these footballers.

 

Shocking isn’t it, was good anytime he’s featured for us too.

For everyone who seems to think Luca Connell is the second coming of Lionel Messi we are about to find out. If he's as good as some people think he is then he should be an absolute stand out in League 2. Lets see.....

 

Guys no kicked a ball in over a year...let's not judge and write the lad off (or claim he is the man to build the squad around) based on one game.

Playing at a * level with * teammates doesn’t just make a player shine. No * said he’s a game changer for either but he’s deserved a chance.
