The biggeat priority got sorted first with Boyata for me.

Since his bad injury Emilio has been perpetual motion. We also have a good few options now should he ever get injured. I wouldn't mind Tierney being 'back up' considering Mulgrew can slot in there if needed.

He's definitely not ready but he does have 1 thing I've liked the look of already, a quality cross.

Aye, at the end of the Season the centre of defence was priority but that was dealt with immediately.

Back up goalkeeper and a number 9 were the next 2 and it looks like both have been knocked on the head very early by Celtic's standards.

  2. Agreed mate.

3 priorities, 3 of them sorted. I think a LB falls under the 'would like' category.

  3. I'm really happy with how he's going about his business.. how many times at this stage of pre season are we screaming at the manager and lawwell to get the holes in the squad filled!

Really liking Ronny at the moment.

Another decent LB and a centre half would be something I'd like to see too.

This has been an excellent window thus far! Credit to the club for learning from their mistakes of last summer!

  5. Great news the club is moving to bring in players before champions league- we needed a back up keeper so delighted at this.

  6. I was getting a little worried that we were happy going into the season with Gordon, Fasan and Hazard. Glad to see this signing, especially since its a guy with caps for Belgium and gametime for Genk and Monchengladbach.

Unusual that he has a Scottish name. Good to see the club continuing business in a swift fashion.

I agree. A new left back that will be good enough to start, Mcgeady, and Ciftci and we should be grand for the qualifiers.

  9. His surname is French, by the way. It's pronounced Buy-ee.

  10. That was beautiful :smiley-laughing002:

  11. It would be a big risk to rely on Tierney, but I have to agree the boy is capable of some world-class crossing. Ideally he'd go on loan this season though, he's only 18.

  13. We currently have 4 players who can operate at LB - Izaguirre, Mulgrew, Fisher and Janko.

Granted we don't have one other who is a recognised, left footed player (other than Izaguirre), but that's good enough for me - especially since e of those 4 can play in more than one position.

He'll most likely go on loan, probably Hibs or someone and also needs to bulk up.

Bla. We need a proper LB who can either put Izzy out of the team or breath down his neck so much that he ups his game.

  16. * playing right footed players at left back... I think Tierney will get his chance if izzy is injured.. but I do think we need another left back, incase Tierney isn't upto much
