Surprising. Youd have thought he'd jump at the chance to show his skills and keenness.

    Up to him..

Don't blame him tbh, why would you want to trade our day to day facilities for those at Raith Rovers.

To get a game a fitba.

Being a fitba player, you'd think he'd be desperate, considering his last piece of action in an actual game was...............erm, I don't even actually know :56::56::56:

In a sense, yes. But also in a sense, no.

He has every right to sit here and collect his wage as per the agreement in his contract.

But, this is hardly a similar situation to - say - Bobo Balde. This guy knows he is nowhere near good enough to even push for the no.2 slot ffs. Surely to * some of these pretenders have some sort of professional pride in themselves that would push them to even go on a short-term emergency loan deal and attempt to (at the very least) get some competitive game time and hopefully impress their manager? No?

The epitome of a squad filler.

I just think Raith Rovers probably isn't an attractive move for him, and with all respect to Raith I don't blame him for knocking them back..

Oh come on now mate, the only game time he will be getting (if any) will be for the development side, playing at the same stadiums that Raith's first team will be.

If he thinks he's too good to go play a couple of emergency games for RR, then he clearly thinks he's too good to play 3rd string here. Which, proves that at 30 years old, he's nowhere good enough to be at this club.

    Off with him.

Don't disagree that he offers nothing to the squad, not sure Fasan is good enough either. Think we'll see another keeper introduced to provide more competition..

Going to Raith Rovers won't change his status here so all I'm saying is that it's up to him, and it doesn't really affect things one way or the other.

I understand what you're saying JC. Granted Kirkcaldy isn't the most appealing of destinations. However, it was only an emergency loan they were looking at and I think it would have shown a really good attitude and work ethic to take on the challenge.

Also, in football you never know when that favour might help you out in the future. Maybe John Hughes and Fasan will cross paths again and you can guarantee Yogi will remember that one. Unlikely but just my take on it :50:

    To play football?

Emergency loan so every chance it would have been a month long loan where he could have played 3 or 4 matches. Hardly throwing his career away. He'd be back at Lennoxtown by April.

    * poor from him.

He'll be gone in the summer anyway so not overly arsed what he chooses to do now.

Picking up a wage. Very poor on his part from a professional point of view.

Although i do have a soft spot for the rovers as they are my local team and it would have been nice to see a Celtic partnership going on to some degree.

I am a big defender of this guy and i think at very least much better than DDV. But this is quite unprofessional specially if it happened the way it was mention (with him just disappearing at last minute and not picking up the phone and such)
