  1. I'm assuming Lenny & Co will have a look at Freddie before making any kind of judgement.I reckon he would bring much needed experience to the team but If i have any doubts about him it would be his pace or more worryingly, whether or not he is a yard slow or not.....pace ain't everything but being up to speed certainly is.
We just have to put our trust in Lenny and hope he calls it right.

  2. Thanks for the link :50:

  3. hartsons not a fan of the move thats for sure.

  4. this man is quality

  5. i think hel sign and do ok against the dirty orange huns on sunday and then hel be amazin then he can sign for 3 years lol :)

  6. sign him on a pay as you play deal?

could pass some of his experience on to forest and McCourt even if he doesnt do that well for us. He seems keen to play which is a good thing :50:

  7. The more I've been reflecting on this, the more I think this could be a good move. We don't have a great deal of experience in the squad, and despite BBJ's concerns, I think that this could be a fantastic move. Is that to say Freddie will be the next Lubo? Not likely. But if he is fit enough, still has the skills on the ball & his wage demands are reasonable, then this could be a real winner.

  8. I think what should not be missed too guys and girls is that this is Freddie Ljunberg and call it what you like us looking at him or him looking at us, but effectively he has agreed to ( a trial) something a big time player doesnt do normally unless he wants to come. In some clips i have watched of him he still has his skill and his ability to score and if he can bring on players who play with him it can only be good for celtic. Get him signed and punt him into the huns it will worry them sick.

  9. good point

  10. Totally agree!

According to swedish press, he's been offered a 1.5 year contract, and will earn 20 000 / week.
They say that he probably will be offered a 6 months contract with an later option of 12 more months if it works.

    Ljungbergs agent Phil Smith said:
"He enjoyed the training, and felt in good shape."

How close are you a deal?
    " It's looking good"

Lennon was impressed by Ljungberg in his first traning

They also reckon he'll sign soon. The newspaper said that he'll probably sign late this week.
