    Yeah its why player like Evra and Cole are so hyped up - half the teams in Europe will use a centre half, right-back or midfielder at LB because it is a difficult position to fill. Tottenham are 4th in the EPL and Assou-Ekotto is horrible!

    If we did sell him i'd want £10million and HEAVY CLAUSES such as if he plays 100 games for them we get another £5million, and if they try to be sneaky and let him play 99 and sell him then if he doesn't play 100 games and is sold we get half the money from the sale OR NO * DEAL.

    He is better than left-backs in England such as Jose Enrique and Leighton Baines who would command £10m+ just because they already play there. WE ARE NOT MUGS if Izaguirre signed for Wigan in the summer he'd be worth £16million the same as that Palacios at Spurs.

    This may be a little off topic.... But when I was taking a * some guy told everybody that Gary Hooper had already been signed by Liverpool for 15 million. Done deal.

    I told him to * off cause Carrol and Suarez cost 50 million and started a chorus of HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAHAAAAAAAH in the toilets.

    if ALan Hutton went south for around 9 million i'd consider nothing less than 12m with a player thrown in to be worth it.
    In saying all this, if we win the league this season, if we could hold onto the players we have now (punt Murphy, Rasmussen, Hoiveld, McGinn, Loovens) and bring in another striker and another centre back and re-sign Hinkel, then we have a squad capable of developing into a strong team capable of getting through champions league group stages. As Kayal and iziguare are on 4 year deals we've realistically another 12-18 months before having to worry about selling them.

    i'd say they will need to bring £12m to the table before we start to talk. has been outstanding since his move.

    if he does go for this amount, i have faith that Lennon will find a good replacement for £3m. he seems to have a good knack at finding good players who are heavily under priced.

    Basically i think it's down to him. If he wants to leave, he will leave. Contracts mean nothing anymore and players have to much power. Just hope he shows a bit of loyality.

    I think considering the inflated price tags they pay, and the £12 million being quoted for Jose Enrique... I think 12 is what we should be looking for.
