    What they where saying on talksport was that no one in england wants celtic or rangers in the EPL is because of the sectarianism and a great way for us to get in would be to join under the one banner as Glasgow United just think a football team in the CL representing each and every person in Glasgow does not one person on here see an upside too that.

    Yes...that would be lovely...but get real!
    Both clubs are trying to stamp out sectarianism as it is..why should we have to merge to achieve entry into the EPL..they just don't want us full stop! It's bog all to do with sectarianism.

    I'd prefer to be part of a European league than go to the EPL and try and break the stranglehold they have on the market!!

    I have mates that are Rangers fans too but some of the * they come out with is still vile and I would have absolutely no interest in supporting a football team with them. I tend to just not talk about football with most of them because it can only end in an argument. You can start up a new team with a new strip and a new badge and a new stadium but the underlying feelings will still be there.

    That shithouse of a club they support and everything it stands for and represents is repulsive to me. And their fans are part of it. The worst part in fact. I don't support the Scotland national team for the simple reason that it has Rangers players in it. I want * all to do with them. I like the identity that Celtic have. I love the Scottish/Irish thing we have going. I love the fact that our fans can go abroad and actually behave themselves. I love our Green & White hoops. All of that would be lost in the formation of a 'Glasgow Utd'. I would never ever have anything to do with it. Would rather go off and support Partick Thistle or something tbh.

    No chance in *!it would be wrong.i know not all rangers fans are * but even alot of mates say vile and stupid things and i for one wouldnt like to sit with them when theyre spouting their *.like joemcl said its nothing to do with sectarianism its theyre scared incase we actually succeed in the premiership and break into the top 4 and maybe actually win it after the 3rd or 4th season of trying after teams like spurs have been trying to break into the top 4 for years.they also dont wanna face the fact that except for man utd and maybe liverpool and chelsea we're a much bigger team than the rest of the league.

    i was listening to talksport earlier and some * was asking `whats the point in having celtic and rankers in the CL if theyre never gonna be able to win it?` totally sick of the arrogance from the english media. why wont they just die :54:

    Anyone who has listened to Talksport over the last few years will know that certain presenters on there have a strong tendancy to make outlandish statements and topics in order to attract callers/texters that sort of thing. Not long ago one of them suggested that the two Bristol clubs do the same. it got a massive and bad reaction but the point is that it got a massive reaction.
