    A bit of both. The authorities limited our salary costs because we were in financial difficulties due to Covid. What's more, President Aulas took on a scout (Bruno Cheyrou, a former Liverpool player) who is stratospherically bad. So we've got a lot of players who don't fit together.

    But we have a new owner-chairman (John Textor) who has started to restructure the recruitment team by appointing Mathieu Louis-Jean, a former recruitment director at Marseille who also spent time as a scout at Manchester United. So we're on the right track, but it's going to take a little time. It was high time Aulas left.
