Been saying this since he came into the team.

It’s no coincidence when he plays our play out from the back is horrendous. He’s clueless about how to make space and where to go. Players are constantly trying to tell him to get out the way.

And the amount of times we could’ve broke in the first half and he’s dallying on the ball was infuriating.

 

Liked him prior but he looks everybit a LOI player today.

 

Aye I noticed a couple of time's he could've played a quick, through ball behind United and he took too long..

Has some attributes but he isn't the answer..

 

Not good enough.

 

He’s too slow on the ball, as poor as Forrest was he wasn’t helped by having scales behind him taking 2 or 3 touches more than was required to shift the ball on.

 

Another Desmond special.

 

He’s a squad player at best here, a decent player in there but would need a loan spell to settle into the league.

Problem for him is currently neither him or Taylor are good enough to be nailed on first choice. Both would be fine as back up and I think scales being back up with minutes and games here and there would bring him on. Its really glaring now that it seems like left back is by far our weakest spot. we need a ccv/Jota level of loan before midnight Monday

Difficult to make an impact with the amount of game time he's had.. He has attributes, good delivery, height but he's not making it as full back in Ange's system..

He may be ideal as a L/CB..

It's been an excellent window, but it will be a little tainted for me if we don't strengthen at LB, seems glaring to most.

Guy had a nightmare today, I’ll no go overboard on it.

 

I’ve been consistent from the start but it is hilarious how overrated he was until today

 

He’s got some useful qualities for me, but he’s very raw. He can grow into it I think but not as a first choice just now.

 

I don’t think there’s any chance in all honesty.

Players can improve a lot of things but he just looks completely brainless to me. I canny mind the last time I saw a player for us so clueless about where to be and how to make space.

He makes Boli look like a genius.

I think this confirmed for me that Celtic don't have a long term solution for the left back position. Scales and Taylor might be good enough for the rest of the season but Celtic will need to invest next season if they want to continue to progress.

Off for Taylor near cost us the game cause of Taylor’s mistake not clearing the ball before being fouled.
