Forgot about him. He looked pretty wobbly for pretty much the entire game. Think he even got away with being robbed of the ball at one point...

He has the art of causing chaos in the defence. PUNT.

Whilst Trusty isn't the answer, he's far better than Scales.

I think Nawrocki is comfortably better too.

He is so far off it.

I probably hate Scales more than @Callum McGregor hates Yang :56:

even through his purple patch when he was seemingly ‘holding the defence together’ I just couldn’t take to him. It’s painful watching him pass the ball from side to side all the time. He wins a lot of headers but he should do, that’s his job (sorry to go all Roy Keane) he shouldn’t be starting cup finals he should be a squad player and that’s it

So weird how people see him. He was the only one driving us forward and showing intent at one point.

He won near every corner, and we barely conceded any chances at all.

    * no chances. Kaspar threw it in the net, wasn’t even a chance they had.

While i think some people make him out to be worse defensively than he actually is, he was absolutely woeful in build up IMO. Both him and CCV were a big issue in causing the slow and predictable possession. Too many touches, too many safe passes, too scared to make a mistake.

at what point was this? I respect your biased towards him I really do but he was woeful in the buildup yesterday. Not just him CCV as well. No urgency for most of the game. If them two are going to have the ball the most it needs to be quicker than what it was yesterday. Too many times we’ve seen it this season

How anyone can defend him is beyond me. He was woeful.

The first 25 minutes…I’m not exaggerating when I say nearly every time he was on the ball it was either a terrible first touch, or a dodgy pass. He’s absolutely hopeless with the ball at his feet and turns like an oil tanker.

Even defensively. Aye he usually gets his head on it, or a block…but even then he quite regularly mistimes his jump and heads it back into danger, or sclaffs the clearance.

Has he got something over Rodgers cause * knows why he keeps getting the nod.

Don’t want him anywhere near the side cause he’s not good enough

Trusty for me has far better attributes but is prone to dallying and having some fragility mentally..

Scales can't be a main starter next season..

It's a real * show that we've spent about £14m on cbs the past 2 summers and he's still first choice. How we've not replaced Starfelt is absolutely criminal.

He is useful as a squad/rotational player

But, dropping Nawrocki who scored against the sheep recently, when we had numerous corners was odd.

Trusty is one of the weirdest players I can remember, in the CL against some really talented strikers he had very good games, won everything in the air, matched them for pace and physicality but domestically looked out of place against Simon Murray and the likes and was a bombscare in a few games.

So matched some of the real up and coming strikers in the game but equally looked a bombscare domestically. The only other player I can remember being like that is Julien.

I have to say I thought he had a poor first 20 minutes or so; but I thought he played really well after that (which is like 100 minutes or so).

He started really well and he looked mobile and useful passing out of defence. I don’t think he copes well with strikers getting physical or the aerial side.

His confidence seems to be knocked and he has fallen out of favour with Rodgers. In fairness Simon Murray is a handful and he puts in a power of running.

Yeah but he matched up well to guys like Sesko, Openda, Lookman, Rettugui, Kane, and Watkins, as much as Simon Murray is a pest and handful that’s some list of forwards to come up against.

That Bowie from Hibs gave him a hard time too. I think he also struggled in games where he would be untested then had something to do as if it was a concentration thing. Where he was good when he had to be active for most of a game. I actually thought he was probably better than CCV in a lot of our games.

Scales is what he is a decent squad player but has serious limitations, he is also prone to brain farts on the ball and takes too long to make his mind up.

    It's bizzare isn't it :giggle1:

Jullien was strong and excellent in the air but in his defence he was getting bullied by big Dykes on that woeful plastic pitch at Livi. He did look clumsy and rattled here and there at other times mind. He lacked pace..

Trusty is very quick when he wants to be. Can be strong and dominant also. Has shown up well against very good sides. It's his dallying on the ball and a mental thing with him, I'm sure of it..

It's clear Rodgers doesn't fancy him now though, and Scales isn't the answer.....so I'm expecting a new left sider in. Trusty to possibly be sold along with Lagerbielke and Nawrocki..

Trusty reminds me of first season Kelvin Wilson and second season CL Kelvin Wilson at the same time

My issue with him is I think he seems to be a * *
