Aye right okay mate obviously you've never kicked a ball past a goalkeeper. In any case Mcgeady's power AND accuracy are * poor. Would prefer Lawrence over him any day. If hes good enough for Trappatoni, he's good enough for me.

Trappatoni is ireland manager, not celtic manager. different animals against different opposition.

One way of looking at it. He has stated he wants to play for Celtic and although McGeady hasn't said (yet) that he wants to leave I think he does and think he should. So if Lawrence is someone that can come in and do a good job for a 1/5 the price we sell McGeady the money can get used in other areas i.e. striker.

 

TBH cant be annoyed arguing with you about it..If you think that power is not required then......ok whatever.

Couldn't care less who Trappatoni is the manager of. The man is a legend in the game, won countless amount of trophies. If he prefers Lawrence to McGeady(btw Celtic formation aint too different to Irelands) then thats good enough for me!

Formations have little to di with it either. Ireland dont play in the spl where they are the better team and do 90% of the attacking. He plays Lawrence for his defensive qualities imo.

 

Liam Lawrence is stronger, tracks back and has a better shot than McGeady.

McGeady is faster, more skilful and can link up with a good fullback.

They are better at different things than each other, we can't say who is better in overall because that would be tough. Its all matter of opinion and you have different opinions. Just deal with it.

mcgeadys better than lawrence without a doubt but i dont like mcgeady and i would take lawrence but not as a starter,as i've said i want the midfield to look like this next year
