Yeah, I take what you're saying.

But maybe this is where I'm too harsh. I've always tended to be one of those guys that thinks 'if you're good enough, you're old enough'. And from what I've seen, Henderson isn't good enough.

Yes he was not great but by no means the worst and at the age of 18 he should he is not scared to take the ball and try to influence the game where as more experienced players were hiding. I think if integrated correctly into the first team we might have a good player on our hands and definitely better than some of the mediocre foreigners we have purchased of late.

He was poor V Inverness but it would be ridiculous to write him off based on that.

Hes shown enough already that is clear there is a player there.

I'm certainly not writing him off solely on the Inverness performance, which was terrible. I don't think he's the answer.

He looks like another Mulgrew in midfield- not good enough.

Give him some more game time, I thought a couple of times last year he looked good, but of late, sorry absolute mince, couldn't pass, couldn't trap a ball.

But hopefully just a wee phase.

I would rather give him a few more run-outs as opposed to playing Mulgrew in there.

You not think you're being a tad judgemental? The guy is 18 years old, name a player who has reached his peak at 18.

He scored a hattrick today in a development squad 6-2 win against Ross County. Other scorers were Paul Mcmullan(2x) and Thomson.

he has shown that he is still to immature i cant remember what game it was pre season but he was making stupid tackles and fouling players off the ball he doesn't have the experience yet but if he shows he can be mature enough i would be happy to see him in the first team he is a good player

Glad he is not playing just now in the first team. Our experienced players can't work out what RD is trying to do as yet so I would wait until we are settled then drip feed him in. A very good prospect who could be effected by a team in transition and fans that are not the most tolerant at present. Hope to see a lot of him over the season when the time is right.

Many people were claiming when Deila came here, the intelligent coach would play many youths , it doesn't look as if Deila will play young players any more than Lennon . To me he is right as Ronnie should only play those he considers good enough and not base selection on age .

He's a cracking wee player. I would probably tell him to get a loan of Jugos roids right enough as he does have a rather feminine set of arms.

Would start him over the current Johansen

Really like him, if he's not getting into the team by Christmas get him out on loan to a team that plays football and where he's going to get a game, he's at first team football level just now.

on footballing terms i would say he is good enough to be first team but i dont think the mentality is there yet so i think a loan would be a good option

Don't really understand your opinion on this. It's based on a pre-season friendly?

it is based on performances lat season as well i just dont want him to be put into the first team for big games to make poor decisions regarding his behaviour on the pitch once he matures a bit he will be a first team player most weeks

Ronny is still finding his feet as our manager. In time, his philosophy will become apparent.

I look forward to seeing Henderson, and others, in the first team.

Our most experienced player and captain kicked Neymar on the back in a champions league game that we looked likely to win. Players can be stupid, manager has to iron out that stupidity.

I've said before on here that I know him reasonably well(not wanting to sound like 'that guy' who brags about knowing a player just wanting to get my point across) and I really hope he gets a chance over the season.

He is very mature for his age. His dad being an ex-player, even at a lower level, has helped to keep him grounded. He has always put football first ahead of everything else.

People need to remember he broke into the first team last year at 17 ffs. At centre midfield especially with us that is not such an easy task, regardless of the state of the league. I think his style of play would suit a ronny deila side, hope he can kick on.
