I honestly just don't see it with him.

For a 20 year old that's had three seasons of first team football his fitness is howling.

He's not good enough technically to make up for his lack of physical attributes.

    What was this article?

Really had high hopes for him, but its amazing how little chances/he has done actually at Celtic. Performed well at hibs last year and Rosenberg seemed to like him as well. Yet can't make the step up for what ever reason?

Not every player is going to make it here, and not every player is going to hit the top. Maybe he just know a that now.

People who put players like Henderson, McGregor and Armstrong in the same player bracket as Bitton are off their rockers.

All on top form Bitton is 10x the player any of those three will be.

Complete hyperbole. What have you seen to suggest his fitness is "howling"?

I don't know about fitness, but he looks far slower than I remember from his breakthrough season. Noticed it with us since and during his loan at Hibs..

His last 2 game's/cameos, he's been decent I think but don't like his comments at all. Almost as if he knows it's over for him here, through his own doing, or Brendan wanting rid. Brendan hasn't indicated that whatsoever though..

His comments are unprofessional but I can see where he is coming from. He is probably frustrated at not getting a whole lot of game time here.

Fairly sure he grew up a Hibs fan. Plenty of Celtic fans who've been at other sides have said similar about us in the past.

Don't think he's good enough to get in our midfield 4/5,better players ahead of him.

Had massive hopes for the lad. Genuinely thought he was a bracket above anyone that's come through in recent years. Oh well.

He's not a serious Hibs fan, I know that for sure. Although there are some in his family.

I definitely see him ending up at Hibs and tbh it would probably be the correct move. I think he perhaps knows that himself.

He is at the stage where 1st team football is where he needs to be and the chances of him becoming a regular look slim so he has to look at what's best for him.

Not played a minute for us since he did this interview in regards to Hibs.

Clearly not gone unnoticed by Brendan because it seems too coincidental that he's not getting games all of a sudden.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him head to Hibs in January now that Commons has joined. My guess would be that after the emergency loan for Commons finishes, he will go back on loan and see out his Celtic contract. Henderson could go on loan, with a possible purchase option in the summer?

Yeah, that's clearly it, Brenny out to get him for talking.

Couldn't be that he's average and there are better players in front of him, that would be inconceivable.

Seeing your posts on here, I have to ask, do you just post * to get a reaction and wait for the quotes to argue? If so well done, you got me, good job.

I think he's one of those players we really want to succeed because he has obvious qualities that are very important at this level e.g his dead ball skills. We're crying out for a corner kick taker and he's brilliant at that. Unfortunately it's not NFL and we need a complete player rather than one with one skill. I think that is why he might not make it here. I say might because you never know what Brendan can do with someone and he's still young enough to improve. I'm expecting us to buy in midfield improvements though so it's going to be difficult for the ones coming through to be good enough for CL level.

    Motm by a country mile..

Passing was excellent, box to box digging in, assist, tricks and flicks, excellent deliveries and almost scored a peach..

Majorly impressed. Haven't seen that from him in a long time. Our calmest player tonight. Ultra cool..

    Well in Hendo..
